N3wton is one of their latest games. It is based off of Newton’s 3rd law of motion - for every action, there is an equal, but opposite reaction. You are a little white bulb of a thing that can shoot. Every shot you fire, you recoil a little bit. You can build up energy and fire a stronger shot, but your recoil is even greater. Your enemy are black bulbous things. They shoot at you too. However, they do not recoil. Your goal is to knock them off of the screen before they knock you off.
Easy? Not so much. You have to figure out a balance between the number of shots you fire at your enemy vs. the number of shots you have to fire behind you to keep yourself on the field. Smallville actor Eric Johnson has landed the role of Flash Gordon in SCI FI Channel’s 22-hour series, which is due for an August premiere. The first two episodes have been written by Peter Hume, and will be directed by Smallville’s Rick Rosenthal. Production will begin in May in Vancouver.
Under an agreement with franchise owner King Features Syndicate, Flash will be produced by Reunion Pictures. The original Flash Gordon was created by Alex 1934.
