It was the darkness that first met my gaze. A thick blanket that shrouded everything, including my mind, as I collected my first thoughts of this year .

Christmas with Pusles parents was excellent! I hope all you guys had one as good. As you may know the main festivities are on the 24th of December here in Denmark, so the four of us had a lovely Christmas eve with plenty of food, drink, singing, dancing and exchanging of gifts (of which I’m sure I received more than my fair share Google Reader Notifier. New Years ResolutionsI tried making New Years Resolutions, Renewals for the New Year, Promises for the New Year, or whatever you desire to refer to them as. I sit here wondering exactly what I want to do with my life. Not what I “should” do or “need” to do. I’m sick of living my life as “everyone” expects me to. I’m sick to death of it. Where has it gotten me?
It’s New Years Day 2:14am: a time for a new beginning. However cheesy it may sound, “today is the first day of the rest of my life.” This is the opportunity to start everything over. I may not be able to turn back the clock and fix my mistakes or better yet my errors, but I can learn from them and break this vicious cycle my life has become.

Well it's Jan 2nd 2007 the Christmas and New Year annual weight gain program is over; once again I have successfully eaten and drunk my way though 2 months worth in 10 days. I am actually glad to be back at work so I can stop enjoying myself! Sure that will change by Friday. I though it would be fun to keep a diary of this years golf ups and downs; nothing serious just a sideways look at what happens and how often I stand there swearing as another Pro V sails over the cliff. So we are in 2007 the Golf Clubs Centenary year; boy what a year this is going to be from all the snippets of info floating around the club. After a barren year in 2006; not a single place in a club major, 2007 has to be better, positive mental attitude remember golf is 90% mental, I am sure I am not alone in looking forward to the events in 2007. Our New Years Eve Party this year consisted of 15 cans of silly string , lots of noise makers and fireworks on the lakefront. The kids had a great time.
