The globe is AS3-based and uses PaperVision3D v1.5 along with a bunch of custom UI stuff and SWFAddress for deep-linking/browser-button integration. You can know more about this site at G. Well as you can see, I have a new header and footer for MiscGarbage.com. This is all thanks to my pal Robbie Watson from the The Rants and Raves. He did a fantastic job of encompassing what this site is all about, and the face lift he gave it is a definite upgrade from the [...]
Pooby5 is a new brand that accepts portfolios and designs from artists from all around the globe. Most of the designs you'll find here are designs that have failed at Threadless or Woot and I hope to see some good ones that unfortunately didn't cut it for Threadless. Let me also say that the shirts are darn cheep; regularly, they're sold for only $11 and on Tuesdays are on sale for $10! The shipping cost is very low too ($2.50), and I'll let you know about the quality when I receive mine. One last note: they have lots of sizes, which to me is very important.
As you can see the site is brand new and still in development for the next few days. I need to get it live, install some new features, to come is a Hot or Not Voting system , members pages and maybe a forum.
Please post your comments and use the site often.

After about a month of tweaking and polishing, I’m happy to announce the launch of a new site created by my friend and I, Sujjest.com!
Sujjest is a Web 2.0 Ajax based eBay search engine. The main focus is on finding what you want fast, efficiently and accurately. The reason we decided to create an eBay search engine is because eBay’s own search well… sucks.
Notable Features
Usability
The user interface is where Sujjest shines. Apart from being clean and pretty, it’s the little things that count. Things like being able to start searching when the page loads, being able to switch item views via just CSS so things change instantly or even the user friendly message describing your search results! Speaking of item views, you can switch from picture to detailed to list view, depending on how you like to view your results!
Unique Keyword System
Sujjest offers an innovative keyword search system where you can add/remove terms or take terms and move them back an
The site OddsBreakers.com is about free football picks. On the website one can buy picks. The site owners are welcoming members to post, share, buy, and sell sports picks for NFL,NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAB, and NCAAF as well as win monthly and seasonal cash and prizes. Here's my oddsbreaker profile. After joining the sport enthusiastic site, I clicked contests. I saw something that said that you can win a Nintendo Wii with a Madden 2008 game. The person that comes in 1st place wins $5,000, 2nd place wins $600, and 3rd place winners get $500. This is for the NFL Regular Season 2007 contest. This is going to be fun. A lot of people are making picks to win. One of my football picks is the Eagles team.I just clicked groups and I'm about to find out which group I'm going to join for sports picks. One can also create a group. I like the Lakers as one of my basketball picks, so I joined the Lakers Land group.

I am working on a new and improved Famous Martini website. In the meantime, there will not be any new posts while I work on the new site. However, there is a lot of great stuff here, so take the time to get it all in during the break! And of course, not to leave without sharing something useful, and to wish the world a Happy Thanksgiving, here is an awesome Thanksgiving cocktail recipe to add to your Holiday dinner table. Spiked Apple Cider• fresh apple cider• cinnamon sticks• whole cloves• white rum Heat apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves, and stir occasionally. When cider is heated, remove cinnamon sticks and cloves with a spoon. Pour a shot of rum into each glass, and fill with cider. Put a cinnamon stick in each glass. MMMMMmmmmm......Share with everyone! (Over 21, of course!)
Sorry I’ve been out of touch recently. I’m currently at BlogWorld in Vegas now brainstorming and hard at work coming up with a new format for the site.

Baltimore, MD, November 7, 2007—All Around the Home, an online home improvement contractor directory, has acquired Roofing-Directory.com (http://www.roofing-directory.com/). Unlike the All Around the Home website, Roofing-Directory will specialize in just roofing.
Roofing-Directory is a site where homeowners can find roofers who specialize in roof installation, roof repair, and roof replacement. Homeowners can request free [...]
I’m the queen of waiting for sales because there’s nothing I hate more than buying something only to find out that its price got a lot nicer after I dished out real dough. So, I often wait for price reductions, but it’s a tough task to keep up with all the sales, and sometimes real gems slip down the drain into fashion oblivion. That’s why I was excited to hear about SavvyCircle, a site that alerts users when a favorite item hits the sales rack.
I tried it out, and it was pretty easy–you just join and download a plugin. Then, whenever you’re shopping on one of the sites Savvy Circle works with (including Shopbop, Target, Ron Herman, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, JCrew, Zappos and lots more), and you see something you like, you just press a little icon and it’s added to a watch list. As soon as that favorited dress, sweater or pair of shoes goes on sale, you’re the first to know about it. I put this sweet little honey of a jacket from J.Crew

You just launched a new site for your startup and you are ready for the traffic to flow. Lets not fight the obvious, being indexed by Google (and to a lesser extent Yahoo) is important for future traffic goals. The common rule of thumb is if a website is linking to your new startup site, the search engines will find it. To start, lets determine if your new site has been found.
Enter “site:www.yoursite.com” into the search bar in Google and Yahoo.
If the result is “Your search - site:www.yoursite.com - did not match any documents”, your site is not indexed. The good news is, it is easy to get indexed once you have your XML sitemap created.
How do I get indexed by Google? Google provides Webmaster Center that allows you to submit your XML sitemap. This tool will let you know if Google is having trouble indexing your site……valuable information to say the least. The quick version is to submit your URL only to Google. I still recommend using webmaster t
As explained in one of your previous newsletters, Google has some filters for new websites. How long does it take exactly until search engines list a new site in the top 10 rankings? How long does it take until Google, Yahoo and MSN list a new site?In a recent test, a webmaster optimized his site for a four word keyword. After about three weeks, Yahoo and MSN showed the website in the top 10 results. Even after several weeks, the same website was nowhere to be seen in Google's top 10 results. The highest result that the website could obtain on Google was position 30.What does this mean for you? It looks like Yahoo and MSN are much faster to list new websites in their result pages. The test confirmed that Google has filters for new websites. For webmasters, the results of this test mean that they have to overcome Google's filters for new sites if they want to have top 10 rankings. It's difficult for new websites to get high rankings on Google but it is possible. You have to make sure th
I have noticed that writing blog articles is sort of like talking aloud in an empty room, but one that might be connected via sound carrying corridors to other rooms teeming with listeners. So on the one hand it's like listening to yourself talk (or drone on endlessly as in my case), and on the other it's possible that somebody is actually hearing whats being said. Regardless we have added a new site feature that is both a demonstration of what we do, and a place for anybody looking for advice or to discuss web programming can drop by and post their thoughts.
After I bought a domain www.seductive-grace.com, I thought of changing colors of my site because almost all my blogs have Pink colors. I have 5 blogs but I updated most are these 3 blogs An Endless Words of Mine, Maldita's Randoms and Silkroad Online Blog. You can visit the sites by clicking the links. Now, I have to finish editing this blog. nyehhehe.. See yah!! Keep visiting!
If you’re reading this post then that means you’re seeing the new jonlee.ca site on the new dedicated-virtual server. Over the past few weeks I’ve slowly moved all my sites over to the new server with this blog being the last one.
I’ve also updated the design of the site to give it a wider 3-column layout to maximize screen estate usage. There are still a few things missing but hopefully it displays properly for everyone. I’m still using the Mandigo theme but I’ve customized it quite a bit to suit my own needs. Check out the little buttons in the top right hand corner — give them a click!
As you can see, I’ve picked a winner for my blog logo and header image contest. The winner is from the Digital Point forum but I’m still waiting on the logo.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think of the new design! I’m open to all suggestions!
P.S. I noticed that all my apostrophes have become weird symbols, if anyone has a qui
Hello Fellow Reader,

Blogger is still hosting and they say they'll forward you, but I do not know that I trust them on that. It seems to be working fine for now, but please treat this as a site move and update accordingly.Last night I stayed up quite late with this but managed to wake up reasonably early. I do not feel like total crap. Things are good, and I have to go to work now.Have a great day, everyone!

The photo in this entry is My Pleasure. Photographed and edited by me, Lynda Walldez.
For the past week I have been working on this site and I have finally finished editing it. Its now live for everyone to visit and enjoy. Although there are still a few more kinks to work out, the majority of it is functional. The site is called Lynda's Mail Spot, where you can find all information having to do with activities I participate in with mail. I love sending and receiving personal mail, so this is my way of inviting everyone to join in the fun.
For now there are 5 pages featuring different activities I take part in which include traveling journals, postcard exchanges, trading and swapping stuff, writing to pen pals, and being part of Good Mail. Just about all of them are fairly new activities I've begun to take part in.
I am seeking to start a traveling journal with a handful of people, so if you are interested, visit the site. I am also seeking new pen pals. Postcard exchanges are fun,

People don’t realize that launching a new site is a lot of work. Some think, I’ll just Make Everything SEO friendly and get free traffic. Only if it were that easy. Search Marketing in the beginning can help give you that initial boost if you do it correctly. If your selling a product you need shoppers. If you have good content, you need readers.
Don’t think “If I build it, they will come”, as that statement may be true in some situations, it does not apply to all!
Using the power of Pay Per Click on Google, Yahoo! and MSN will allow you to get your product or service out to the public instantly!
It will also give you time to develop your natural results as well as building up inbound links, tweaking your site and getting a feel for your market!
Search Marketing does not have to be a “Drain the Bank” project either. Start with an affordable budget. Do some research to find inexpensive keywords. Test, test, test your ad copy. Grow you
Since I’ve been spending so much time and effort working on the blog lately, and narrowly missed WordCamp in nearby San Francisco, I’ve been strongly considering attending PostieCon. It’s a one day conference in Las Vegas this November. Of course, the last trade show I went to Vegas wasn’t very successful for me personally as I ended up gambling way too much. So should I decide to go I need to ensure I stay not only somewhere inexpensive, but without a major casino in the lobby and still near the Las Vegas Convention Center. The usual places for booking online: Orbitz and Expedia. unfortunately, neither of these sites had an option to sort by both price and proximity to the convention center. Not too surprising considering these sites are far more focused on selling airline tickets (which I won’t need) then Hotel Reservations. After stumbling around a few hotel/motel chain sites, I found HotelReservations.com.
It’s a nice clean site with the

I've been wanting to for so long. I finally got a domain name a site I've been wanting to make for 5 years. It's still in development, but it should be ready by next Tuesday. I will make an announcement with site address soon.In the meantime, I finally got my High Warlord's Dreadweave Gloves! Hello traders, here is something that will catch your attention in the next minutes. Well, a few back days, I suppose on 14th of July I found an interesting site related with loans that I had a good impression of your content. The website is called Iloans, is a great example of a new site with interesting information, such as personal loans, secured loans, and much more. As personal loans and secured loans are one of the most keywords searched in internet, it became obvious to me that this website could be an interesting subject to share with you so take a look at it. In addiction Iloans permit you to get a free quote, so take a look at it.This is a sponsored post
Well kiddies,
I'm working over at my new site today.
I plan to check back here during the day to respond to comments and fun stuff like that, but I have to admit that WordPress is kicking my ass right now. (ALL I WANT TO DO IS CHANGE MY THEME!!!)
Hopefully I will be able to slay the Word Press dragon. Wish me luck.
Oh, and any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
All my previous blogs were link to others thus making them visible on Google very quickly. This time, I decided to see how long it would take while I added some content each day. So on June 27, I created the new domain. I installed WordPress on June 28. I removed pingback so that it would not update elsewhere(i.e. Technorati) and did not submit the blog to Google for inclusion. This could take weeks anyway. Because of the funny but naughty nature of the blog, I could not use Adsense(I think) on it and I’m using an alternative. This new blog is also an experiment by itself(more later).
Her is how I did it
I did 2 things:
Used the Google sitemaps generator v2 plugin
Added the sitemap from above in Google’s webmaster tools. I used my Google Analytics/Adwords account.
The result
On July 1, my site was available on Google. You could do it yourself or pay someone to do it. With the latter, you should expect more in terms of service like being in the top 10 and on
Well, the iPhone launches today. I’ve got to talk about it being the macHead that I am.
First of all, from what I can see, it rocks.
Honestly, the more I thought about it, the more I thought, ‘A lot of phones have touch screens already, what’s the big deal?’ Well, it’s not really the touchscreen that makes it cool (though the touchscreen gives it a cool factor), but it’s more of the software. It’s basically a watered down version of the Mac operating system, but it’s not really watered down…at all and it’s made for a cell phone, and an iPod, and a web browser. Now the Mac OS already kicks as it is, and having it on my phone would be like having a little mini-mac in my pocket all day, what could be better?
Now to the graphics. The graphics on this thing are awesome. Just like the full Mac OS, they use the glossy, glassy looking icons and the transistions between screens and menus is seamless. I had a razr (and I do now again)

So, I decided to change the name of this site. Why? Because it seems the old name is just too long for most people's memories to remember. So that is the main reason. That is all. And I think the new name is catchy. I like it. Enough said.
If you want to launch a new site, the very best time to do it is right after a Google Pagerank update. The reason for this is that all of the link building you do after launching the site will be counted in the next update. Since updates take place about once every three months, you can get a lot of link building done between updates.
Why is this any better than launching at any other time?
Let’s say for example you launch a website in July. You then start a two month link building campaign and get backlinks for the rest of the month. The pagerank is updated in August. Now you get to proudly display a mediocre pagerank to all of your link partners while you continue to build links for another month. Two months after you’ve stopped your link building campaign, another update comes and you end up gaining very little due to the fact that you only did link building for one out of the three months between updates.
I’m currently advising that people launch new websites in A
I'm sorry it's been awhile since I last posted, but I was sweating bullets trying to get my MS doen in time for my Bayou Summons May 1 deadline. I did it, sent in today, got it in just in the nick of time.Okay, this is a preview of the site that Dawn at DAGIAN DESIGNS is building for me. She's incorporating flash also, so it should be killer by the ime it's done!!! I can't wait! I will be sure and let everyone know when it's up and running!
After a few weeks of playing around and testing I've finally got my new blog ready to launch. It's not completely done but it's certainly close.
In the past year I've written a lot about video games here on Bill2me dot Com but over time it's become more of a secondary topic for this site. With that in mind I started thinking about launching a new site which was geared directly towards video game news and reviews. In the last few days I've polished the theme a bit more and now just need to start filling the site with some quality content.
While I did keep a lot of my favorite aspects from this theme I expanded the sidebar and made it possible to split it in order to include special buttons and banners.
Because the site is geared towards Video Game news and reviews I also incorporated OpenAds, an open source adserver. Using OpenAds I'm able to serve special links in the sidebar and header that will rotate based on a variety of factors. Over time I'll be able to track ad p
Ok, finally got round to doing a feel good friday page. And a contact me page. And a recipe page. Click the word ‘page’ in each of those statements to see what I’m talking about…if you want them later, they are also listed under the ‘my pages’ section of the sidebar. No I don’t really think you are all idiots, this is to remind myself….
Oh and you all need to get your butts over to Zoe’s new blog. I finally caved in to the incessant “MUM CAN I HAVE A BLOG??” that occurs on a daily basis. It’s called rainbows…and I’m sure that it will be as interesting, and simply beautiful as one as she shares what she wishes to share. Please remember that she not only writes everything (with my approval of course) but that she reads the comments as well. She’s only 6, but can pick the spelling mistakes faster than you can type them and WILL! Pop over and say hi. I have all comments on moderation, although on

I have all comments on moderation, although on
Muchi Muchi Pork, Cave's latest game dedicated to the appreciation of large women (I'm not joking), is due for release in Japan sometime in the immediate future. Though I haven't been able to pinpoint a specific date from any of my distributor contacts (I've been told roughly to expect it in the next week or two), location tests have all been wrapped up. The official site was also updated on April 19th and had been given a facial "make-over" to prepare for the game's inevitable ship date to arcades across Japan. You may be wondering just what exactly the picture above is supposed to represent. and well, quite frankly, I have no idea. After perusing the official site for the game for the last hour or so looking for an answer, I can honestly say I still have no idea. I know that it was taken at the AOU 2007 convention, and I also know that it is in some way related to the game (because I found it on the official site), but beyond that I'm totally lost. Surprisingly enough, aft

So, I have finally purchased my domain and have set up a new site host. I did this because my current site is set up for more of a products business, and I'm quite limited as to what I can do with it. With this new site I should be able to add flash as well as create the template from the ground up.I'm probably also going to host a new blog there as well. I will keep this one as active as I can, but for the most part, my main blog will be hosted on my new site once I get it set up. I might do duplicate postings so that each one is current, but I haven't made up my mind as of yet.Not sure this was such a good idea with everything I have going, but.....it needed to be done!

I’ve updated the style of my site after learning about CSS. I found a great photo of a Lotus Elise on a beach from LotusEliseBlog.com. The owner Chris kindly let me use and edit a photo for my blog header.
As well as learning about CSS I’ve started to use PaintShop Pro. It’s amazing what it can do and it’s so easy to use. Check out the photos below. The top is the original photo I downloaded from Chris’s blog. The bottom photo is the edited version with the person and the cars in the background removed. The sky and sand were cloned in from other areas of the photo and the finishing touch was extending the bridge along the horizon. Although you can’t see the extended bridge on the header image I know it’s there
I have started a new site about Agloco today. It's in lithuanian so it won't be useful for you english readers, but I just have to brag! We have a news section there, and plenty of information about the company. I also added a link exchange and I'll swap links with Agloco-related sites in any language. It includes a neat little flag near your link as well. Here's the URL for those who are
Ads Daily Network has introduced a sister site for the popular 11adsdaily autosurf, called 13adsdaily. This program looks to pay a really high rate of return, 13% daily for 13 days for a total 169%. I suggest making a test spend on this one and see how it goes. 13adsdaily is a very high paying site, so I suggest only putting in money you can afford to risk. Should everything go well, you can more
I'm now posting on Webcomics Nation as well as here. I will still post here, but the images will be a bit larger and (hopefully) more organized. In addition to still using this (live space) for updates, I will use this also for a sounding board and whatever it is I'm supposed to use a blog for.
But, if I start to ramble on about myself (in ways that no one else can possibly care about) or publish some horrible poetry about how nobody understands me, then I give you all permission to reprimand me by way of comments or hotmail. Nobody should have to put up with that, especially you. My family knows me, they can deal.
So, my new site is:

Thank you for your time, you've been a great audience. No, seriously, I mean it. Remember to tip your waitress and try the special, which I believe is pigs in a blanket tonight. Good night!
PS-- A big thanks to Dean for his great input about Webcomics Nation for me to want to go the
I just discovered an incredibly well-done Feldenkrais website from Darcia Dexter. Darcia is a Feldenkrais Practitioner who works in and around Los Angeles and Orange County. Check it out: FeldenkraisCentral
Out the door for a short vacation. Will write more about Darica’s Website next week.

Alright so I upgraded the blog to the new blogger style and I'm trying it out, after about three hundred different tries I finally managed to get the haloscan comments working, so nothing is missing. Anyway, that was a quick update, blog posts to be coming in a little while. Or else.
