Bungie have revealed they are actively working on a new non-Halo game. While there will be more Halo content, they’ve got new ideas in development. To quote Bungie’s studio manager Harold Ryan:
“Obviously Microsoft wanted us to make more Halo games. Both I and some of the more senior guys from the original Halo game have deep piles of game designs for the Halo universe that we are excited to build at some point. Summer is like that, of course, with lots of picnics and weekend outings and adventures of all sorts, and though I've been having the occasional hookup, most of my summer has been consumed by more substantial activities and events than casual sex.

It seems that there are finally a few more details on Cave's new shooter revealed earlier this year. According to Mihara (CEO of Arika and the one responsible for the Ketsui DS project), a post on the Japanese site Mixi has stated that the working title for the new shooter is called "Death Lolita". There was no mention of any additional details about the game, but the post does bring up that Cave also appears to be hiring some people for Cosplay-ing at upcoming events. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to view the post in question since a registration and log-in is required to access the Mixi page, but I have no reason to doubt the information provided.As fans of the game may remember, Gamengai originally broke the news of a new Cave game with their post featuring the flyer sent out with the soundtrack CD of Mushihimesama Futari. Dengeki Online is reporting that the Cho Aniki series is being primed for a new release by Extreme, who has recently acquired the Masaya brand label. Though the official website only contains a rather large teaser image for the game, from the looks of things all of the oddities of the series will be coming back in full force. The title is being labeled as a "super secret" project right now, so it's unknown as to when we'll be getting more details about the game itself. If it follow the majority of Cho Aniki games, expect a traditional side scrolling shooter with all the innuendo you can expect from a game about "Super Big Brothers".I'll be keeping my eyes on any new updates as they come... The Cho Aniki series has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.
We have some good news for all you game server customers out there! The game server control panel has been updated today with a fantastic new feature: a file editor! “What’s so special about that?” I hear you cry… well, this is no ordinary file editor; it features full versioning support, which means every time you update or edit a file, it saves it for you (with a useful name and a date stamp) so you can revert back to any particular version of the file at any time! It gives you control over many core game files for your game server, therefore meaning that you don’t have to use FTP. How handy.
I might well have confused you, so let me clarify: Say, for example, you update your server.cfg file with some new gravity settings, and after testing them on the game server you decide you don’t want super-low gravity, you can jump back onto the game panel and revert back to an older version of your server.cfg! Simple, eh?
