Willcom unveils new designer smartphoneTokyo-based telecommunications company Willcom presented its newest smartphone today.The WILLCOM 03, which seems to be an iPhone competitor in some ways, was developed by Sharp. Parrot, who are no strangers to digital photo frames, have announced a new Designer Collection of digital photo frames with the first designer digital frame in the series having been designed by leading French designer Andrée Putman.
After Dolce&Gabbana, Prada and Armani now comes the next fashion phone. This time not from Italian designers but from one of the oldest American jeans brands: Levi’s. Created by French design manufacturer Modelabs the phone comes in a metal case and is available in 5 different color combinations. Against the current trend the credit card sized phone will have a regular keypad and not a touchscreen. Still it’s gonna cost about 500 EUR without a contract which is quite pricy for a phone with that range of features. In Germany it will be released in November and exclusively distributed by The Phone House. The only colors available here are gonna be brown and black, unfortunately, cause we like the silver one best. I’m a bag lady make no mistake about it. And coming across this cute little fella, I could not help but fall in love with the design and colour. The tiffany blue and white colour is so soothing to the eyes even if I know it will get all grubby in no time.
I always prefer to carry leather bags so I’m glad to note that this Gianina (Mini) by Bolzano is of leather. It makes it easier to clean if it gets dirty. The leather handles are reversible and it zips shut (another plus point) with nickel feet so the bottom doesn’t get dirty. It retails for $168 and has an International guarantee. I’ve never heard of Bolzano before this, but according to the website, Bolzano is a brand of luxury handbags and leather accessories that is taking the international market by storm. It is currently being sold in Europe, Asia, Central and South America so that tells me I should keep a look out for it in our local department stores!
Today, I received a scoop from Daily Candy (one of the best newsletters and sites for fashion, entertainment, etc.) about a designer fashion site, Shopbop.com that is sure to please the “fabulous” shopper in all of us. I must warn you though. This site is not for those of us living on a budget – unless your budget includes a hefty clothing set-aside. For those of you that are not scared or have all your dimes in order, please continue reading.
The site is fantastic and features designer and often lesser known couture jewels. The designers include Beatrix Ong (shoe designer), Geren Ford (clothing designer), and Shaoo (jewelry designer). And of course, the site has Citizens of Humanity, Cynthia Rowley, Juicy Couture, Theory, and tons of others. If you haven’t heard of these brands, do check out the site. It will provide a great introduction.

The Honda team have signed BMW Sauber’s chief designer Jorg Zander as they attempt to improve their poor form.
Honda, who won their first race of the modern era last year, have slumped this season and scored only one point in the first nine Grands Prix.

Actress, mom, and all around chic lady, SJP has recently added "designer" to her resume as well.That's right, the woman that made micro dresses and giant flower pins fashion musts is now bringing us some designs of her own. Information right now is scarce, such as exactly when her line will be released, what price points they will start at, market and more, but for now, we do know that her line will be called "Bitten."According to Instyle magazine, her line should hit stores this summer and features casual wear, accesories and intimates.
