Also a huge apology for my absence. First off, my computer is dead (despite the upgrade my husband did to it, yeah, it needs a new power supply so I have been without my computer for over a week now, and am using my daughter's which I rarely use, so I am rarely on the computer). Secondly, I am starting a NEW JOB in the same field (healthcare) here and I am very excited about it. Having to say goodbye to the people I have gotten to know over the past 3, almost 4 months is hard, but this is a positive move, a move up for me, better pay, better benefits, and a chance to move up in any position in this company down the road. NSC sent me this blog via email...by NSCIt was a season we would all rather forget. Fresno State had just finished 4-8 with a loss to the San Jose Spartans for the first time since 1990. Tom Brandstater threw four interceptions and could do little to move the Bulldogs down field against the Spartans, something Bulldog fans had become accustomed to throughout the 2006 season. Fresno State would endure heart wrenching losses to Oregon and Washington in back to back weeks. Later in the season the Bulldogs would lose to Utah State in what could possibly have been their worst loss in school history. The Aggies of Utah State had long been considered one of the worst programs in D-1A football. Last week I had a little scare. Well, it was actually a big scare which caused me to panic and completely delete my blog as well as my email account.
I thought about giving up blogging for good. I just couldn’t see starting all over from square one again. And to tell you the truth, the time I spent away from the computer turned out to be a much needed break. I was able to watch my favorite shows live instead of on my DVR, I got a good night’s sleep, I didn’t even panic when I realized that I left my digital camera at home! I felt liberated!
But then I started to miss my blogging friends. I couldn’t stop wondering what crazy things you guys were all up to and how your Thanksgiving celebrations were going.
