Many kick started their AdSense online money making careers after reading Joel Comm's AdSense Secret eBook couple of years back. They paid US$97 for those 132 pages! That was a lot of money for many back then (Joel still sells this book for $97.00. It's worth every penny). The secrets people learned in that one book have turned many into popular AdSense publishers. In order to stay in the game, you need to have the latest tips in your arsenal.Well, here is the good news!On this coming Wednesday, Joel is releasing version 4.0 of his AdSense S

When I was not here for nearly 4 months, there are many updates from Google Adsense. Though they may not be a hot and fresh announcement anymore, I think it worths to mention in this blog again which specifically talk about Google Adsense. If you are already familiar with these "updates", you can simply ignore these posts, and move forwards to the rest of my blog. The first update I am going to say is the new payment option - the Western Union. In addition to the existing payments like cheques and EFT, Western Union is the third option you can take, if you are within the designated countries. This is pretty much like EFT where only limited locations are available. You can now withdraw your earning in your Adsense account from Western Union within a day after your payment date. So you don't n
Google Adsense is testing ad units with cool navigation buttons with a very smooth scrolling. The ads scroll very smoothly (May be some Ajax used). I had seen this ad on my 468×60 text ads and large rectangle in my sidebar earlier today. Here is a screenshot of the ads with scrolling buttons on one of my 468×60 Ad unit:
This kind of scrolling navigation was first seen in widgetbucks. It seems Google is implementing a lot of changes to its Adsense Ads. First by allowing server side changes to Adsense Ads unit, then making changes to the clickable area and now different ways to show more ads!
And to be honest, I loved this latest change in their Ad unit allowing easy scrolling to view more Ads! Now let’s see how this performs in terms of monetization.

I just logged in to check my AdSense earnings and notice that the new Ad management has been enabled on my account.
The new system simplifies tweaking AdSense units on my sites as the ads can be tweaked from within your AdSense account without the need to manually past code into your template to see every little design change.
As a reminder, this feature will save the settings of your ad units within your AdSense account. That means, each time you want to change the colors, channels, or even the corner styles for your ad units, you can make the changes directly in your account rather than generating and pasting new code. Again, we’re still working on rolling this feature out to all publishers, so don’t worry if you don’t see it in your account yet — it’ll be there soon.
If you’re an AdSense user you can find out more information in the AdSense help center and if not you can sign up for AdSense.

Recently I saw new adsense ad. It has different format from regular large rectangle format. Check this image. Notice the link unit below regular ads. First I think it is a mistake by google. After I check this issue at Digital Point, apparently Google is testing the new format.
This new format is not showed to every adsense publisher. I don't know the criteria who eligible to have that format.
Recently, Google announced their change of AdSense program politics. One of the most important changes for ad publishers is the opportunity to put three (3) link units on their page and not only one, as it was before. Overall, this means that you’ll be able to put on a page:
three link units
three advertisement units
two search boxes
As for the search results - the rules are the same. Only one advertisement field and no changing of the code whatsoever.
What I think
Link units are a great source of filling up empty fields in your design with useful, targeted links. Good for the visitors and good for your wallet. Thanks for the change, Google
Checkout gives your users a faster, safer, and more convenient way to shop online. OK, that sounds great for them, but what do you get out of it? Well, every time you refer a user to Google Checkout, you make a little money. It's a simple process that includes all of three steps:1. You place the Checkout referral button on your site.2. Someone clicks on the button, signs up as a buyer with Google Checkout using a valid U.S. credit card, and completes a purchase of at least $10 before shipping and tax through Checkout within 90 days. (The current $10 minimum purchase corresponds to our existing $10 promotion for new buyers, so this amount may change in the future.)3. You earn $1.It's that simple. Please note that Checkout referrals are currently only available for U.S. publishers, and Google Checkout is currently only available for buyers with a U.S. credit card. We hope to make both Checkout and Checkout Referrals available in more countries soon.If you're not convinced, why not t
