*According to recent rumors, gamers have been booting up their Xbox 360 only to find that the Achievements they worked so hard to get were gone. The rumor went on to claim that the Xbox Live outages over the holiday break were the cause of the missing achievements. TGR had an opportunity to speak with Major Nelson at CES 2008 this past week. Edward Norton and Tim Blake Nelson are reportedly teaming up for Leaves Of Grass, a new comedy. The pair are currently working together on Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk. Leaves of Grass follows the story of twin brothers (Norton). One is a philosophy professor and the other criminal who gets his brother into trouble with a gang of murderous potheads. It’s not known which role Nelson will play but he will be producing the film, with Norton directing. Norton seems to like directing comedies, I suppose as they are such a contrast to his dramatic roles he often plays. Willie Nelson has joined forces with Best Friend’s Animal Society to support a dog fighting bill in Georgia. ATLANTA (AP) — Willie Nelson is looking to become dog’s best friend. The country music star has filmed a television spot supporting an anti-dogfighting bill that is moving through the Georgia Legislature. There’s something illegible about Fall of Cthulhu. Maybe it’s all the strange names, briefly referenced ideas later becoming important or simply the lack of proper character introduction (the female lead is an total mystery–I thought she was a college student, but she might be Paris Hilton). Nelson’s terrible college student dialogue doesn’t help things. It’s so funny reading it sometimes because what he’s doing is real obvious–he’s removing definite articles to make conversations read more “natural,” except it’s a terrible gimmick and it just makes them read even more wooden. Suffering from anxiety most of my life, I have sought many self-help books and tapes and programs to boost my self esteem and reduce my anxiety. I recently had the opportunity to listen to the life coach DVD series, and I want to say, it is very good indeed! The first CD goes on about a purpose statement. I like this idea. A purpose statement has to say something about who you are. Not “I am a woman who…” I know I am a human/woman/whatever, and so that is not acceptable. I have been thinking about what I can use as a purpose statement for myself, it has to grab other people’s attention, too, and make them think. Another CD goes into depth about fear… no fear is something I have dealt with all my life. Mostly because of my anxiety. They go hand in hand for me. Since taking the meds, my fear and anxiety have both dropped dramatically. So what would be a good purpose statement for me… I’m still thinking and will post it when I get one irone
