Find your neighbors in shared hosting plan with MyIPneighbors
MyIPneighbors is a Reverse IP Domain Check DNS Tool. To make things simple for you, MyIPneighbors lets you find all other neighboring websites in your shared hosting plan. If you have a web site, odds are you're probably using shared hosting. If you are unfamiliar with shared hosting, shared web hosting service or virtual hosting service or derive host refers to a web hosting service where many websites reside on one web server connected to the Internet. Each site "sits" on its own partition, or section/place on the server to keep it separate from other sites. This is generally the most economical option for hosting as many people share the overall cost of server maintenance. And the other side is, shared web hosting lets the hosting company make profits when giving away the hosting plan

      Canine Neighbors
On a recent morning walk with my dog, Rocco, I ran into a friendly neighbor. “He’s been voted one of the cutest dogs in the neighborhood,” she said to me.“Thanks,” I reply.“Hi Rocco, how are you? You’re such a cute dog,” as she pets his head.“He’s a crazy puppy,” I reply jokingly. “He has more energy then I do.”The small talk continues as she asks me various questions about the dog, his breed, age, etc. Now, I don’t mind chatting with the neighbors and it’s good to know people are generally friendly and enjoy pets. Except there is one thing that bothers me…she knows my dog’s name, so obviously we’ve met before… but I don’t think she knows my name. And I don’t know her name either. As I’ve lived in this area now for almost two years, I’ve notic

'Neighbors For a Safer Charlotte' Organization
On Saturday morning, I learned of a new organization in Charlotte called "Neighbors For a Safer Charlotte." One of the organization's founders is a mother of three young children who was attacked by a man outside a YMCA last December. She is determined to bring citizens and neighborhoods together to demand action and become part of the Charlotte crime solution! I do not know much about the organization except for what is on their website but it sounds like an organization we should all support and become a part of! From the NSC Website: "If we truly want to be a World Class City, then citizens and city leaders must be open to self-inspection, and find innovative solutions to make our community a safer place to live and work. Now is the time to to take responsibility. We must demand

Top Six Ways To Get To Know Your Neighbors
Recently, the wife and I cast aside the era of feudalism and became landed peasants. Huzzah! Now how should we go about mixing with the locals?6. Comment on their significant other. Most cultures enjoy praise. When this praise is applied to their mate then all the better, right? Don't just keep it about their personality either. Go into details and really let them know how much thought you've put into their loved one's body.5. Wait for them by their door. Nothing shows that you care more than spending the time to hover in the shadows outside your new neighbor's door. It can get cold out there so perhaps don a trench coat and/or ski mask. Make sure to run up and get that obligatory introductory hug out of the way before identifying yourself as well.4. Share a secret. Do you have some s

A-Rod is in contract to buy a $13.5 million penthouse on East End Ave. in the same glass tower where Santana is looking to put down at least $7.5 million for his own sprawling pad, real estate sources told the Daily News yesterday. "I don't see why A-Rod and Santana can't live in the same neighborhood," said Yankees fan Danny Dix, 47, who has an apartment near the building. The mom has invited us over to introduce Zane to their cats. Her children really love Lola and are always petting her when they happen upon each other while walking by our front porch. Sounds like we're all neighborly, right?Perhaps not, because now rumors are about to swirl. It's getting all Wisteria Lane on our street after last night. While we were outside in the courtyard playing croquet with our cool neighbors we heard what really goes on in their house. Apparently the mother has quite the temper. Explosive really. Her use of

We should have our drywall inspection meeting with the construction manager soon. While visiting the house and neighborhood, we noticed another young couple looking at a house a couple doors down. It turns out they were our new neighbors. They were very nice. And normal. And, better yet, they have a daughter that's just a few months younger than Zane. We were hoping for some neighbors with kids for Zane to play with, so now we know of at least one. Hopefully there will be many more. We determined that they’d get much better rates and terms on their mortgage if we could get their scores up even just a little. Well, they did some rebalancing of the credit cards, scraped up a little more down payment, and ended up saving about 300 a month on the same home they were in love with from the start. The biggest worry is that the home they’d picked would sell before they got it. It was worth the wait and the worry, and they’re moved in and busy getting settled. Welcome to Vintage Vegas! Extreme Pumpkins: How to carve pumpkins and make your neighbors jealous
I’ve been visiting ExtremePumpkins.com off and on for a few years. Tom Nardone takes the art of pumpkin carving, simplifies it, adds power tools, and a lot of thinking outside of the box and really does some wonderful work on pumpkins. He knows a bit of danger = fun. You’ve probably seen his work too in one of those emails that gets forwarded all over the place that just clog your inbox. It probably had the subject line of “Check out these pumpkins” or “These are really cool pumpkins” or something along those lines. If you’ve seen pictures of any crazy or insanely carved pumpkins, you’ve seen this guy’s work. He also knows that using stencils and pumpkin carving kits are for sissys. I know that not everyone is an artist, but you don’t have to be to carve a cool pumpkin. Stencils, while neat, do not yield a unique pumpkin. Well if it does, and you did not set it up securely then it is very likely your neighbors or drive by hackers are using your internet connection! Even worse these same people could be gaining access to the computers connected to your network. Wireless networking is very easy to turn on but a little more difficult to secure correctly. A simple look on the internet will show you sites that actually list unsecured wireless connections. I did a search on my home address and found 129 open networks within a 1/10 of a mile of my house!! Is yours one of them? There are some simple things you can do to secure your wireless connection. Let me show you how.1. Lets start with the simplest thing first. Change the default password on the wireless router. Wireless routers come with a default password already set. What would you do if your neighbor knocked on your door and told you that his ARM is adjusting and he can't afford his mortgage anymore? Would you write him a check? Hillary Clinton thinks you should.Direct from her website:Hillary will establish a $1 billion fund to support state programs that help at-risk borrowers avoid foreclosure. Some state programs help borrowers make the single payment necessary to become current on their loans; others help borrowers renegotiate their loan terms, or simply provide financial counseling. These foreclosure mitigation efforts are more important than ever right now. Federal assistance for state programs that assist at-risk borrowers supplements Hillary's call earlier in the year for "foreclosure timeout." At-risk borrowers and lenders should be encouraged to work out alternatives to foreclosure. In other words, your tax money is going to help pay other people's mortgages so they can keep their homes. Never mind that the borrowers chose to dive int

      Kirsten Dunst Annoys Her Neighbors
In an attempt to preserve their way of life, angry residents in Islington have submitted a petition to their local council in an attempt to quiet down Kirsten Dunst. The center of controversy is a growing belief among the locals that the Spiderman actress is changing their quite community into a party town with her late night festivities. It appears that Dunst, a new resident to the community, has developed the habit of visiting the local pubs and then inviting all of the locals at closing back to her place. According to the Daily Mail “When closing time comes she invites them all round to her house to continue the party. But it seems the noise levels and people coming and going at all hours is getting to her neighbors.”"Kirsten isn’t very popular in Islington at the moment. The locals are incensed that she’s changing the tone of the area. They’ve had enough and apparently three families have written a petition to the council in the hope they’ll take some action.”When aske

Windmill Cuts Bills, but Neighbors Don’t Want to Hear It
Want to reduce your electric bill?BEACH HAVEN TERRACE, N.J., July 10 — Tired of paying as much as $340 per month for gas and electricity at the Cape Cod home here where he has lived for 18 months, Michael Mercurio erected a 35-foot windmill in his backyard last fall that helped reduce his bill to about $114 — a year. That's from $4,080.00 per year to $114.00 per year! I could put up with a bit of noise for that...Put money into the technology and they could be noisless, too....

      Neighbors Matter Luke 10:25-37
What is faith about? Is faith a personal matter—is faith only about my life or is faith about others beyond me? Jesus met a man who thought hard about this question asking him, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" He was asking this question after the 70 (or 72) had just come back from declaring the kingdom. It was an honest question; and Jesus gave an honest answer. The answer

The Republicans are coming, and my neighbors are leaving
Not really leaving, kind of but not forever.  I thought it would make a nice headline considering good old Minnesota, the very BLUE state of Minnesota is holding the 2008 Republican national convention.  The news media likes to say it is being held in Minneapolis or Minneapolis/St. Paul, but it is being held at the Xcel Energy Center in the Heart of St. Paul.  For the record there is no such city as Minneapolis/St. Paul, the term was created by the news media. Part of the reason I have this blog is so I can educate the general public and help put St. Paul on the map. Last March I wrote about a post, The Republicans Are Coming  and have been getting email and phone calls for months because of it.  I know what you are thinking, and no I did not write anything bad this time.  It seems that some of my neighbors are renting their homes out during the event.  I get why, we do live close to the Xcel center, and some want to avoid the hassle and make

Responsible dog owners make good neighbors (a good fence doesn't hurt either)
Neighbor problems are not my favorite thing to tackle, on my blog or in my life offline, but tackle them we must. Julie has a neighbor problem of the worst sort - a neighbor who won't, either by choice or incompetence, control her dog. The dog suffers, the neighborhood residents suffer, and, most importantly to me, the neighborhood kids could be in danger. [Read More...]

I Seem To Have New Neighbors... Kind Of
My husband and I were commenting that we've noticed the neighbors in back of us seem to have 3 new adults living with them. Assuming at first they were just visiting, it's been a few weeks and they are still there. Their new 'housemates' seemed to move in right when their two-year tax abatement was up and their housing payment would have jumped about $450 a month more so I'm wondering if

Dear neighbors in Gray, Your dog has a bark that is like fingernails on a chalk board. I have come to realize you are immune to the sound of his barking, but for the love of all that is good, please please let that stupid dog in the house when he barks! I cannot enjoy coffee on my deck in the morning, a glass of wine on the patio at night, I can't walk out to inspect my own garden, mow the

Indonesia assures neighbors it has no intention of attacking anyone
Indonesia on Sunday assured its neighbors that it has no intention of attacking any country, saying its defense forces — running on obsolete equipment — "just cannot afford it economically." "I am facing tremendous problems because if we have more ships and tanks and guns for the defense forces of Indonesia we will have less hospitals and schools for the poorest of the poor ... and we can't afford that," Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono said. "I am juggling the (budget) figures. My operational readiness of defense forces is below 60 percent in each of the services. They are running with obsolete equipment," Sudarsono said during discussions at the Shangri-La Dialogue, an annual forum organized by the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies.

I apologize for the low quality of this photo. She's further away from my deck than I originally thought, and while I'm sure my camera has a special setting for shooting tiny things at great distances, discovering this setting would almost certainly require 'reading the instructions' and, quite frankly, I have scruples. So for now good ole' fashion zoom is all I've got.

The becks and The cruises are closer than ever-Neighbors to be.
David and Victoria Beckham will soon be able to call on high profile neighbours to help them settle into Californian life. The couple’s close friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have just bought a luxurious £18 million mansion just down the road from the new Beckingham Palace in Beverly Hills. The 1.3 acre property was not even on the market, but couldn’t refuse Tom Cruise’s impressive offer. The Cruise’s trumped the Beckham’s in terms of price: Posh and Beck’s paid £11 million for their sprawling villa, which they signed the deal on last week. With seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, Cruise’s property will provide ample space for the couples’ daughter Suri, 1, and Cruise’s adopted children Isabella and Connor. The home also boasts large swimming pool and tennis courts. Tom and Katie played a large role in the Beckham’s decision to move to America, with Victoria and Katie already regulars on the Hollywood shopping circuit

      Creation Sunday: Love Your Neighbors
It’s Earth Day folks, an exciting and important day for us to sit back and remember Mother Earth needs to be loved and cared for too. So, besides running out and getting your free CFL Lightbulb from Home Depot, lowering your carbon emissions, and maybe planting a tree or flowers in your garden, let’s reflect a little on some of the Biblical mandate that compels us to care about the creation around us. Creation Care Magazine has a great intro: Despite our desire to be close to the natural world expressed through birdwatching, gardening, camping, and hiking, it is really the poorest of the poor who live in closest contact with the physical world. The environmental experience of poor farmers in sub-Saharan Africa dealing with drought is direct. Poor people in America’s inner cities breathe polluted air and feel heat waves without the buffer of elaborate air-conditioning systems. Most good things in our economy are distributed unequally between rich and poor, and clean,

      A Whole Town of Neighbors
Before moving to Fairfield, I lived on a cul-de-sac with twelve other homes on Bainbridge Island. I lived on that street for just over three years and can only tell you the names of five of my neighbors. It was rare that I would find myself in a conversation with a neighbor, and when I was the topic was almost always about a conflict someone on the street was having with someone else. It seemed like everyone had at least one neighbor they were not on speaking terms with due to a disagreement. Let’s see, there was: The raccoon killer (shotgun in the middle of the night). The barking dogs that started as early as 530am. The basketball court light that was installed next to a neighbor’s master bedroom window and stayed on till midnight sometimes. The tree cutter who had his entire green buffer of Douglas Firs cut down with no permit and no permission from neighbors. The family of 15 living on a septic system for 4 - a frequent problem for anyone living downhill. The dog wa

Downsize DC: Big government harms you, hurts your family, and injures your neighbors
Congress is once again pretending to address its own failings by silencing voices it doesn’t want to hear. First, it regulated campaign finance. This was supposed to prevent corruption. It didn’t. It merely made incumbents more secure by making it harder for challengers to raise the funds needed to compete with them. Now they’re proposing so-called lobbying reform.Congressional leaders tell us they “just can’t say no” to the lobbyists who ask them for hand-outs. So Congress pretends to regulate the lobbyists. Don’t believe it. The legislation that Congress calls “lobbying reform” will really target small grassroots groups like DownsizeDC.org — groups that citizens use to communicate with Congress. Meanwhile, the so-called “Astroturf” groups, like those created by Jack Abramoff, will be exempt, as will unions, membership groups like AARP, large corporate controlled coalitions, and trade associations .It’s business

      Neighbors & Gene?
I purchased property in Maryland. The day I moved into my new place a single female– who had also just moved in, befriended me. We did the usual things girlfriends did– shopping, movies, night clubbing. She was white. When my father died she was really a great friend to have and kept me busy on the weekends when I was not working. She cut my hair once and gave me Paul Mitchell’s Freeze On. I was not happy with the cut and could not figure out why my hair seemed to be unusually damaged. Even a college chum [she was black] told me she liked Freeze On. I told her she could have my can. This is also around the time every shampoo seemed to turn into the old Agree shampoo. Something I could not use. Let’s call the neighbor C… I have talked about C before. Now let’s talk about her sister– Marie. Marie was married to a good looking guy named Jay. They had two boys. One about 14 or so and the other just a baby. I had met Marie’s bos

Bad neighbors rot in Rent-to-Own hell
By TRACEY SMITHJustaTrace.netWell, the rent-to-own truck visited the Bad Neighbors across the street about an hour ago. Just like it did yesterday.Yesterday, the Bad Neighbors got a giant screen high definition surround sound television.Today they got several simulated oak cabinets the size of caskets. A month ago they took delivery of what looked like a 125 gallon fish aquarium; before that it was three huge decorative wall mirrors and a trampoline...Neither of the Bad Neighbors work. They can't of course. They just had a new baby! Can anyone see where I'm heading with this?I had a buddy named Gary once who simply had to have a deep freeze. It seems he had just acquired 150 pounds of steak. From somewhere.Gary went to the usual stores in town and they were all out of the type of deep freeze he was looking for. The type of deep freeze that goes for $300 to $500 retail. You know the ones.In desperation, Gary went to the rent-to-own dives.Sure, they had what he needed. And before he kne

A Quick Note To My Neighbors
Did you all miss the news where the governor of Ohio said we should all help our neighbors out during this snow storm?Clearly you saw your very pregnant neighbor early this afternoon, trying to clear her car of the snow and ice. I know because I saw you looking out the window. Plus, it was hard to miss hearing your kid pounding on the window at me, as if I was an animal in the zoo, when I fell on my butt on the uneven, icy ground. It's OK, I really didn't need the help, even after I fell a second time, and was clearly struggling to keep my footing.Of course, two hours later, when I was trying to go to work, not only did you watch out your window as I got stuck in the snow plow wake in the street, but apparently other neighbors also joined in to watch as well. You watched as I tried to dig my car out of a rut with only a long-handled ice scraper, huffing and puffing, not offering your able-bodied self as I repeated my attempt to leave, then dig out, then attempt to leave, several time
