AT&T has launched their Video Share service nationwide in 160 markets. The Video Share service will let users stream a live video signal from one phone to another during a call. When in use both people on the call can see the video, however the stream is only one way. AT&T’s Video Share service will require both people to have a 3G-enabled phone with 3G coverage and will cost $4.99 a-month for 25 minutes of use, $9.99 a-month for 60 minutes or be charged at 35 cents per minute. The person who receives the video will not be charged, only the person who is sending will be charged.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — July 13, 2007, Gerber Products Company, a division of Novartis Consumer Health, is voluntarily recalling all packages of Gerber ORGANIC Rice and ORGANIC Oatmeal Cereals due to a potential choking risk. A limited quantity of product may contain lumps of cereal, which do not dissolve in water or milk and pose a potential choking hazard. Gerber has received choking complaints, but no reports of injury. The FDA is aware of this recall.
The product has been distributed in the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. If a consumer has Gerber ORGANIC Rice or Gerber ORGANIC Oatmeal Cereal, they should not use the product and call the Gerber Parents Resource Center 1-800-443-7237 or 1-231-928-3000 to return the product and receive a full refund.

Today T-Mobile USA is rolling out HotSpot@Home nationwide. HotSpot@Home is a service that T-Mobile hopes will eliminate landline telephones at home. The service allows subscribers to make mobile calls via the cellphone network or a Wi-Fi network, easily switching from one to the other without breaking off the connection. By allowing phones to use both networks, T-Mobile hopes to provide better coverage within buildings, which can be a problem. In addition, there would be no extra charge with certain voice plans for calls initiated via Wi-Fi.The cost of the service is as follows:Unlimited calling plan: For unlimited calls made over Wi-Fi, users must pay $20 a month for a single line or $30 a month for a family plan. This would be on top of a current calling plan.
