One of the stranger aspects of us living here is the different way that James & John refer to things. As we’re in France, they aren’t picking up english from kids at school as they’d normally do but rather picking it up from home and the TV. This means that it’s possible for us to pick out where they’ve learnt a word. So, by and large, they “speak cooking” with an Australian accent and they “speak computer” with a Belfast accent. American film studio, The Weinstein Company, has shifted the release of its upcoming film The Nanny Diaries to an early pre-Labor Day spot of August 24. Earlier the comedy-drama was scheduled for a release on September 7.   The release date reportedly changed following date changes in movies of Lionsgate, which will now be releasing Jet Li-Jason Statham action flick War on August 24. Another reason for shifting the release date was that movies released in the week before Labor Day tend to have a 31 percent higher earning that those released after Labor Day.   However speculations are that the release was shifted so that the film faces lesser competition from other flicks. TWC distribution Chief Steve Bunnell insisted that it was a move just because it would give the film a better playtime.   “It’s clearly better playtime. I have LOADs of work to get done today, and I am in desperate need for someone to watch my kids so I can get it all done. Duties would include:Keeping my 2 girls, ages 4 and 2, entertained. Shit, you could just stay near them and make sure they don't scream and play nice. Inside, lots of toys. Outside, a nice playscape, a picnic table and a big front yard.Food: a snack mid-morning. Lunch could consist of mac and cheese, lunch meat or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, along with juice or water. I also have pretzels, carrots, celery sticks, and oranges and apples. Yep, you read it right, I have a Nanny. Everynight after dinner, the dishes are done and the kids are put to bed. I feel amazing. It is like knowing you have a million bucks in the bank. He foolishly made an american idol bet last week, that Jordin Sparks would be in the bottom three. The ante was a week of dishes and putting the kids to bed. It was a total Win-win for me. Gosh, I feel like as if my big bossy employed a super Mr. "Nanny" to tame and nag at me. The whole day while structuring and compiling the flowcharts he nagged at me NON-STOP! Sigh. So young yet so... Let me share with you something interesting about my "nanny". Whenever he starts to stress up, he starts talking relatively fast and unclearly. It becomes really difficult to understand what he's saying, which isn't a good thing. Thus, whenever that happens, I try to make him laugh (even if it means having to "suan" myself). The purpose for making him laugh is to allow the mind to focus on something less stressful. The Buffalo News is now giving consideration to the merits of letting the Government tell us what we can eat. The trans fat debate in this region has broadened. A proposed ban on the use of trans fats in city restaurants, unwise because it’s too thinly focused in a region where city dining establishments face stiff cost and popularity competition with suburban ones, now has a countywide counterpart proposal that makes more sense and should be explored. My question for the Buffalo News is, where does it end?  This list of potentially harmful edible products is nearly endless. There is evidence that the use of trans fats in cooking is a serious health issue, no small matter in a region that has high levels of coronary disease. There is a public interest as well, because communities and taxpayers share in health care costs. The quickest way to improve public health is through policy, and the fairest way to implement policies like this would be at the broadest possible levels.
