An Indonesian man was executed by firing squad after his conviction seven years ago for murdering a family of six in Central Kalimantan province on the Indonesian part of Borneo, local media reports said Sunday. The execution of Ayub Bulubili, 40, took place on early Saturday by firing squad from the Indonesian police at a field in Palangkaraya, the provincial capital of South Kalimantan, Media Indonesia daily reported. Bulubili's execution was carried out after the country's Supreme Court and former president Megawati Sukarnoputri, as well as her sucessor, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, turned down his appeal of clemency.
