Identity thieves have stolen Herman Munster’s identity. Crooks in an underground chat room for selling stolen credit card numbers and personal consumer information offered pilfered data purportedly about Herman Munster, the 1960s Frankenstein-like character from “The Munsters” TV sitcom.   The thieves obviously didn’t recognize Munster as a fictional TV character, and were offering to sell Munster’s personal details - accurately listing his home address from the television series as 1313 Mocking Bird Lane - and what appeared to be his MasterCard number. Munster’s birth date was listed as Aug. 15, 1964, very close to the TV series’ original air date in September 1964.   CardCops, a Malibu, California security company that quietly recorded details of the illicit but wayward transaction, surmised that a Munsters fan knowledgeable about the show deliberately provided the bogus data. Magners League Munster travelled up to Ravenhill with an understrength team yesterday, after Declan Kidney decided to rest the majority of his international stars. Ulster were at pretty much full strength, and so were expected to win. They needed to win, and ideally to secure a bonus point, in order to maintain the pressure on Leinster, the league's leaders.And at half time Ulster were well on their way towards that fourth try, with 3 scored for a half-time lead of 21-3 points.

Munster were without the majority of their big names, and it showed in their Magners League clash with Cardiff, as they lost 19-12 in a very mediocre match that was dominated by mistakes and errors. Still, they managed tos secure a losing point by finishing within 7 points of the winners, and Eoghan Hickie can be happy enough with his display.
