      Mulberry Milton Shoulder Bag
Mulberry is one of those handbag brands that seems to pride itself on classic luxury. So when I came across the Milton shoulder bag on Net-a-Porter's website, I was baffled. Are fingerprinted handbags the new 'It' bags? The Milton looks like the leather was handled before the paint was dry, or someone put their greasy fingers on the front of the bag. It does have some redeeming qualities: 1) It

Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Mush...
Yes, mush.[Let this tale serve as a parental public service announcement: Don't let this happen to you. ]The backstory....Last week, amidst the cavalcade of outdoor field-trips that characterize the next-to-the-last week of kindergarten, one outing in particular featured a shade-providing (not too unwelcome in 90 degree+ heat) mulberry tree. As kids are wont to do, collecting fruit from the oversi

      Happy Birthday Mulberry Bush
We didn’t realise it but it turns out we’re celebrating our 400th anniversary this year, in a here-we-go-round-the-mulberry-bush sort of way. Today’s Times carries a fascinating letter – if slightly arcane – from the Master of the Garden of the Inner Temple, London (no less) explaining the provenance of the two mulberry trees that grow [...]

      Mulberry St. Review
What better way to celebrate Easter than with a review of a horror film about killer rats?  Here we have the film Mulberry Street, which is part of 2007’s After Dark Horrorfest.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with the After Dark Horrorfest, it’s an annual "festival" of eight independent horror films that are [...]

      Ode to Mulberry’s Roxanne Tote
Oh Mulberry’s Roxanne Tote, how I love thee… Your ginormousness would allow me to carry my life in an infinitely stylish bag. I could probably even hide a cute gentleman within, in the event that I see one to my liking. Carrying such objects would obviously necessitate the hiring of a great chiropractor, but this I [...]

      Mulberry’s New Look
I’m so glad to see a Mulbery bag that I actually like. It’s the Mulberry Large Agyness Bag. The bag is in clay leather with the Mulberry plate clasp on the front. What I love about this bag is the plaited details on the sides. Lately, I have not been a big fan of Mulberry bags. Every time I have worn a Mulberry bag some of my friends have said that the bag looks like something their grandmother would wear especially pointing out to the Roxanne style. I can say that Mulberry has officially changed it’s style now and I’m glad to see a fresher look. Julie Verhoeven for Mulberry
Brit brand Mulberry seems to be doing a lot of collaborations these days. Last year, the brand collaborated with Brit designer, Giles Deacon for the 'Giles for Mulberry' Collection. This Fall/Winter Season, Mulberry has collaborated with an Artist, Julie Verhoeven (who collabrated with Louis Vuitton in 2003) to create this Special Artist Edition 'Julie Verhoeven for Mulberry Bag'. Only made in limited quantities, this bag can be considered as a Limited Edition.Julie Verhoeven for Mulberry Quilted shopperBack View Though a little Chanel-esque in more ways than one, (in terms of the quilted look and the chain shoulder strap) the artist illustrated appliqué by Verhoeven reminds me a little of Chanel's fun, funky and colourful Cruise Collections of seasons' past. A little Chanel-esque it may be, but Bagaholic Babe still adores this bag nonetheless. It's very me. Lol. This Quilted fabric shopper has a zippered top and also comes with the ringpull keyring charm attached. Get this Ver

Mulberry’s latest bag collection is simply irresistible
THIS season, look to Mulberry for the latest IT bag, called Emmy. The gorgeous must-have accessory comes in Darwin leather and the season's shades of oak, ginger, chocolate and black. Then there's Alana. Like Emmy, it's barrel-shaped and adorned with zipdetails. Other new styles in Darwin leather include Annie, a day bag with front pockets and an elongated U-shaped body, and Brooke, a satchel with buckles and chain handles.A new line of bags has been designed in Sullivan leather –– similar to Darwin but more rustic in appearance. The Ellison is compact and practical, an over-the-shoulder gun-bag with webbing strap while the Brinkley is a bigger version with leather straps. Then there's Williby, a tote with a plaited leather handle and Mulberry's original 1970s logo featured on the front panel. For house classics, the tasselled Araline now comes in exotic python skin and ever popular Bayswater comes in the softest natural toned sheepskin with Mulberry's seasonal leaf motif.more l

      Mulberry Litchfield Leather Messenger Handbag
When it comes to fashionable messenger bags, there is certain criteria one must meet in order to become a favorite of mine. On one hand, I like it to be rich and stylish but on the other it has to be functional enough to make it a smarter choice than just carrying a large tote or satchel.Having said that, I think Mulberry hit the nail on the head with their Litchfield Leather Messenger Bag. With a gorgeous khaki darwin leather exterior and brass buckles this little guy has no problem with the style aspect for sure. Two nifty pouch pockets on the front are sure to hold all your nifty little objects, while the large 15 x 10 x 3 inch inside compartment should be plenty big enough for your laptop or books. The Background: I think I saw someone famous last night. I met Bryan and Stacey and their friend Jason at Green & Red for some tasty Mexican snacks, and then we dropped into Loungelover for some £11 cocktails. (Hear me repeating...I'm worth it. I'm worth it.) And there in the bar, not five feet from me, was someone who looked an awful lot like Colleen McLoughlin. (That's Wayne Rooney's girlfriend, in case you didn't know. Hey, I only know because I read Grazia.) Well, this has absolutely nothing to do with my lunch with Rutton and Zarmina on Sunday, but I thought it was exciting. Anyhow, I wanted to try out Mulberry Street. Or Bloody French. Both have so-so reviews. Hmmmm. I tell R & Z this and we almost go someplace else, but then we walk by Mulberry Street, and it looks okay. The Food: We order a regular pizza--1/

      Mulberry Madness
Semi-recently I discovered the beauty in a Mulberry bag. Never paid much attention to the brand until I stumbled on it on Net-a-Porter. Last night I re- stumbled upon it in Elle (UK Edition), and guess what it said... it appeals a new customer- " the girl who doesn't want everyone to know what she's carrying. Its understated" Seriously, all I have to say is I SO CALLED THAT! Do you all recall my recent post of my rebellion of the "it" bag. Can I get a "oh snap!" Well the same Mulberry bag I blogged about also happens to be on sale now (was $995 now is $597) Take a look at the Mulberry site (http://www.mulberry.com/), its really cool and there are a bunch of non- it bags that I want.

Train of Thought: Holiday Means Christmas Means Mistletoe Means Mulberry Bags
Can't believe it's December already, and that we have to get the lights, tree, and ornaments out of storage (yes, I have a fake tree). My neighbors had put their decor up the day after Thanksgiving. I feel like a slacker, but that kind of guilt still won't ...
