There is an amazing bookstore on Santa Monica Boulevard, Book Circus. It's open 24 hours a day, and is about 2/3 literature (or more literary books) and 1/3 hard-core pornography. Two of my favourite flavors. I remember going there once in the early '80s, something around 3am, when I had just finished Nabokov's "Pale Fire", and was dying for everything else by him. Last week, I got to take part in a conference call with JASON DOHRING who plays Josef Kostan on CBS’ MOONLIGHT. Jason Dohring talked about things from the future of his character on Moonlight to his approach to acting. After listening to all the wonderful things he had to say, I can honestly say that Jason Dohring is very passionate about his acting, which makes it that much more fun to watch him act. It was such a pleasure to be able to hear his thoughts on acting and how he prepares for a role. So without further ado, here is the interview. Just when I was starting to give up on moonlight the show gets interesting. We watched the most recent episode. One of the few new episodes on TV, oh I can't wait for Psych and the Knight Rider 2 hour movie. Oh well, still have 4 seasons of Smallville to keep us occupied.This episode we learn a little more about the past of Josef. The episode starts off with an old man on his death bed who orders a hitman to kill Josef with fire, it has to be fire, because. The hitman toasts Josef's office with Josef and two other vamps inside. Mick learns of the death of his friend and is extremely distraught but has no idea how to channel his grief.That is okay because it isn't long after that where Mick learns that Josef is not dead and he quickly becomes annoyed at his new houseguest.
