            In London we have one of a handful of Apple stores that are dotted around the world. One of the most amazing products in the store is the massive flat panel monitors on display. These are 30 inch monitors and although they are incredibly pricey but I would seriously consider getting one if I had the cash. Just out of interest I decided to look up a review of this product on the PCmag.com website. Interestingly, that they had a whole feature about 30 inch monitors, of which there were three that were being reviewed. The first out was the Apple display and this was the worst of the bunch because every year since there have been improvements from the competition. The best part, besides the great display itself, is the built-in 2.0-megapixel webcam, which makes it pretty unnecessary to purchase another webcam. Unless of course you're not happy with this current webcam a couple years down the line, in which case go right ahead. And instead of the $400 we guessed, this retails for just $289. I purchased a set of dual monitors. I purchased two seventeen inch middle of the road flat screen monitors. You have to have a video card that has a second output on it and both outputs should be DVI. DVI stand for Digital Video Interface and basically means the types of cables, ports and connectors used to connect high quality video cards to monitors.Don't let dual monitors scare you. It's very easy to set up. Just plug both monitors into the video card. Don't worry about what monitor is plugged into what connector. You can always switch the left monitor with the right monitor on your desk. Some video card drivers will also allow you to choose what monitor is left or right, top or bottom. The government always seems to be taking our money, but sometimes they do get things right and pass legislation that beneficial. US government legislation that has been in the works since the 2000 tire recall will require auto manufacturers to install tire pressure monitoring sensors on all new models for vehicle’s under 10,000 pounds. The bill, which affects vehicles for the 2008 model year, is being phased in September 1st of this year. The system is such that when the pressure of any of the four tire drops below 25% below the recommended pressure, a warning light will display on the dashboard. The consumer will still need to stop and fill up the tire though, tires are not yet self inflating(although that it is probably coming). Tires are the most abused part of the car. With today's update on the status of Ultimate Extras from the Ultimate Team I thought it would be nice to highlight this cool experience I had the other day with Windows DreamScene.  I am currently running a dual-monitor setup on my main desktop PC running Windows Vista Ultimate. I decided to try out Windows DreamScene and see how well it worked with my two 24-inch Dell UltraSharp 2407FP monitors. I tried a few DreamScenes out including the Microsoft Silverlight DreamScene that you can download here. Windows DreamScene is currently a Technology Preview (like a beta) downloadable through Windows Update for Ultimate users. The Ultimate Team is looking to ship the final version of Windows DreamScene later this summer.

I’ve had a love / hate relationship with Google Desktop ever since I first installed the original release. I wanted to install it on Pusle’s machine today (Windows XP SP2) but ran into some issues since Pusle wants to have a dual monitor setup like I do.  Now, the issue is that I cannot find a way to place the  sidebar on the secondary monitor.  I believe that’s the most natural and productive place for the sidebar to be instead of taking up valuable real estate on the primary monitor. A quick search of the online help mentions nothing about dual monitors. The help forums turned up an number of posts by other people with a similar issue but they remain unanswered.
