      Monday Monday
Back on the plantation again. Hope yall had a good weekend. Friday was D's birthday, and we had a great time. Let me sum up my night for you:Instead of "Duck, Duck, Goose" it was more like "Drink, Drink, Drunk". Yeah. That's all I can say about that. And I'm mad at D for being in my face taking pictures when I was umm...not at my best, lol.The rest of the weekend was all about the couch. I went out with L on Saturday night, but we were cold and didn't feel like standing outside trying to get in someone's club, so we went to Maggie Moo's and got some ice cream then went home. I know that sounds backwards getting ice cream when you're cold, but it really hit the spot. Sunday = football. Watched my Giants turn in a less than stellar performance and then I fell asleep on the couch. Me and the couch have been getting in some quality time as of late cuz when the weather gets cold, I turn in to a serious homebody. Anyway, I hope yall had a good weekend. What'd you get into? Get at me

Monday Monday ... so good to be...
Monday is upon us again. I've returned from having a few days off and had to deal with a number of user problems already.Sharons 40th birthday party went well, weather forgiving, it was hosted by the Restaurant Severn next to the Ironbridge. I chose the venue primarily based on a review in the Shropshire Star, but we also dined there to check it out. Eric and Beb Bruce put on a fine custom menu for us and the whole thing was a treat - definitely somewhere to recommend, and I am sure we will return in the future.I have my exam at Uni tomorrow then I am free until October whereupon I start my final year project. It will be a load off as the time spent working on these modules is consuming and takes valuable time away from the family.I got my expected rejection letter from the countdown office. I messed up the two numbers games, even though I got two of the three conundrums and even a nine-letter word in the word games. I guess their thinking is you need to be reasonably good at all thre

      Monday Monday
I just got done with my morning Spanish class and now have a short break before I head off to Chemistry. Although part of me completely hates going to Spanish, I do understand the need to learn it. The world as we know it is becoming increasingly connected, and the time when people needed to know only one language is quickly passing. With ever increasing globalization everyone needs to become more knowledgeable of others cultures and customs. With an increased understanding throughout the world we are more likely to be able to come to terms with each other and be truly kind to our neighbors.Technorati Profile
