      Amp’d Mobile Announces the “Q”
      The Motorola Q to be exact. The MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) has released their highly anticipated version of the Q on their website. Pricing starts at $199 for individual plans. In related news, Amp’d has announced that they are very close to surpassing the 200,000 mark in customers, nearly doubling their customer base of a reported 100,000 at the end of 2006. “Our first quarter results are extremely encouraging, and though we’ve still got a ways to go, each of us believes 100 percent in Amp’d and what we’re trying to achieve,” said Peter Adderton, CEO and founder of Amp’d. Their average user revenue also tops the charts at $100usd per month. They recently partnered with Telus Corp (CDMA provider in Canada) to sell Amp’d services earlier this year.
