In a recent interview on Shade 45 Radio show on Sirius Prodigy of Mobb Deep said that the New York Police Department tried to persuade him to set 50 Cent up with a gun and drug charge.
He blames the Hip Hop cops for his recent arrest and went as far to say that they are all over right now and have many rappers under surveillance.
He sent out love to T.I. and his family, saying that he has seen the cops lie first hand, specifically when the police told him to plant guns and drugs in 50 Cents car.
"Much love to T.I. and his whole family. There is no telling what’s going on right now,’ Prodigy said. "I’ve seen it first hand for myself that the cops is lying. When they locked me up they tried to get me to set up 50 Cent. They wanted me to plant drugs and guns in his car. I was like ‘Hell no, I ain’t doing that.’ They told me if I plant stuff in his car, they would let me walk."
As of right now it is not known when Prodigy will begin to
Quick News: I was just reading around the 'net and came across a story by Nahright (see here) that basically sucks for those who carry hand guns to protect themselves. According to Nah and a report from the NYtimes, Prodigy of Mobb Deep has received a 3.5 years prison sentenct for carrying a loaded hand gun. Damn!! That's probably why Havoc dropped that solo album so quick. Anyways, just goes to

Havoc's "The Kush," coming September 18, marks the first solo album for the New York MC and producer after 15 years in the rap game. What took so long? Blame his day job, he says.
"A whole bunch of Mobb Deep albums," Havoc, whose real name is Kejuan Muchita, says with a laugh. "Basically I had to put out a lot of Mobb Deep material, so that stopped me from putting out an independent kind of
Havoc is one half of the musical force that rap fans have to come to know and love as Mobb Deep. For the past 14-years, Havoc (along with partner Prodigy) have become one of Hip-Hop’s most influential entities and has released a string of indelible LP’s including acclaimed classics like The Infamous, Hell On Earth and Amerikaz Nightmare. To date, Mobb Deep has sold over 4 millions record. While Havoc’s partner Prodigy has already leaped into the solo-realm, Havoc has previously not done so due to a hectic recording schedule with Mobb Deep where he has produced some of the most essential Hip-Hop tracks of the last decade (“Shook Ones Pt.2,” “Drop A Gem On Em,” “Quiet Storm,” and “The Learning” among just a handful of classics) and due to the fact that he is one of Hip-Hop’s most sought after producers (as he has previously worked with a who’s who list of artists including: Nas, Capone & Noreaga, Foxy Brown, 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Mariah Carey, Lloyd Banks, The Game

‘Queens’ is off off “Exit 13″ which will be the 13th and final album on LL Cool J’s record deal with Def Jam Recordings, a deal that has lasted for more than twenty years. “Exit 13″ is slated for release September 4th 2007.
I never would of expected LL to come out with a track like this in a million years, hes on that G-Unit tip on this track. Considering that 50 is also executive producing the album, its definitely going to be interesting to what the album has in store, look out for that.
