Legendary Detroit techno DJ and producer Robert Hood has mixed the latest installment in acclaimed Fabric compilation series.
Out in March, Fabric 39 contains a whopping 32 tracks, including exclusive edits and additional samples, featuring cuts from the likes of Monobox, Joris Voorn, Pacou, Marco Lenzi, Jeff Mills and many others.

Miami house DJ and producer Oscar G., one-half of Murk, Liberty City and Funky Green Dogs, has a new CD/DVD project in the pipeline.
Titled Nervous Nitelife: Space Miami, the compilation will be released on NYC-based Nervous Records in late October.
The mix was recorded live at the legendary Club Space in Downtown Miami, FL where he's been a resident for almost seven years now. The live recording comes complete with all the attendant sound effects, crowd noise and special effects. "This album and film is an attempt to capture a realistic moment of what a Saturday night at Space is; with all the sights, sounds and beats," he explains.A quick glance at the tracklist reveals 17 dark, dirty and twisted house tracks in total, including those of Sebastien Leger, The Southern Brothers, and fellow Miami DJ's Ralph Falcon and Stryke. We are definitely not against taking in collie mixes to find homes for. We received a call from the Ogden Shelter yesterday about taking a collie mix girl. So hopefully we will be getting her tomorrow. Her name is Jessi and she is about 4 years old.
We wish we could do more breeds, but limiting ourselves to collies helps us manage finances and things that we do have to manage, unfortunately.
Finding foster homes is, of course, the most difficult thing. Most people who foster don’t really have fancy homes or use Outer Banks for design, but instead the dog homes are designed around the dogs.

San Francisco-based DJ, producer and Dirtybird Records label boss Barclay Crenshaw, better known as Claude VonStroke, has mixed the third installment in the acclaimed "At The Controls" compilation series.
The 2xCD is set to drop via Resist Music in September.
Following on the previous ATC efforts from James Holden and M.A.N.D.Y., At The Controls Vol. 3 promises to deliver a twisted ride through VonStroke's signature tech-funk and electro-house style he's known for.
The mix features over thirty tracks from artists such as Swayzak, Luciano, Gui Boratto, Matthias Tanzmann and DJ Koze, as well as new track from VonStroke himself called "Groundhog Day". There are many actors and actresses who have 'side jobs' in the music industry. You hear alternative rock, rap music and more coming from them. Some we know about like Jared Leto in 30 Seconds to Mars, Russell Crowe in 30 Odd Foote Grunts and Keanu Reeves in Dogstar. Why you don't see them in music videos too often (aside from Leto), we still know all about them. Other television stars are mixing music tv into their careers though. Jeff Goldblum is one of them. He is in the detective show "Raines" and also playing around in a band (orchestra?) called The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. No word yet on what they sound like. Guess we'll hope for a music video to pop up on VH1 or MTV soon or try to download music from the Internet.

With minimal being the prevailing theme of the techno world, the musical equivalent of writing a word over and over until it has lost all meaning; it’s refreshing to stumble upon someone as anomalous as the highly inventive Ewan Pearson.
DJ and producer extraordinaire Ewan Pearson has put his hand on the next installment in the Fabric compilation series. Fabric 35 is set to drop in mid-July.
Pearson has quickly established himself as one of the most underground and multi-genre producers out there. "I think I move around style-wise, I’ve got quite diverse tastes. [...] At the moment, I love techno but I don’t just play sort of minimal clicky stuff. What bores me when everyone is doing the same thing. I just find the stuff that moves me and try and make it work."
His debut mix-CD Sci-Fi-Hi-Fi Vol. 1 (2005, Soma Quality Recordings) was one of the standout releases of the year. The seventh installment in the House of Om series features the heavyweight turntable techniques of DJ Mark Farina, who returns to his San Francisco roots eight years after having put West Coast house on the map with the much acclaimed San Francisco Sessions.
London-based DJ and producer Jamie Jones has mixed the second installment in Crosstown Rebels' "Get Lost" compilation series. Get Lost 2 follows on from the 2006 debut, a double CD mix from label bosses Damian Lazarus and Matthew Styles.
A regular behind the decks across Europe and Ibiza, Jones has already released records on labels such as Freak n'Chic (Amazon and The Capsule EP's), Steve Bug's Poker Flat Recordings, and Crosstown Rebels (his deep and groovy Panic EP was released earlier this year). Out in late April, the compilation features tracks and remixes from the likes of Timo Maas, Radiohead's Thom Yorke, the legendary house producer Larry Heard, Telepopmusik, Erig Rug, as well as Innervisions (a label which Dixon co-runs together with Ame) label mates Henrik Schwarz and Chateau Flight.
