Biggest Diet and Exercise Mistake You Can Make
This is something you already know, but you forget sometimes. So Crabby will remind you. (This is one of those sort of preachy posts, sorry. They happen sometimes). But here's the deal:In order to succeed at any worthwhile long-term health goal (exercise, diet, stress reduction, whatever) you have to Give up on Being Perfect.Duh, right? But we all keep forgetting this all the time. The Pursuit of Perfection, and the all-or-nothing thinking that follows naturally from this delusional quest, is one of the two most lethal motivational mistakes you can make. (The other is Not Actually Giving a Crap--this is what happens when you embark on a self-improvement program because someone else thinks it's a good idea. They may be right! Still, it ain't gonna work). But unless you come to grips with you

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ON ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND SCIENCE: U.S. presidential candidates McCain and Clinton’s proposed gas tax holiday a big mistake
I strongly disagree with presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and John McCain’s proposed gas tax holiday because:The gas tax holiday may encourage people to drive more therefore increasing America’s carbon footprintIf people drive more then gas (a nonrenewable resource) is burned, therefore not available for future use. As a result, unavailability combined with rising world demand and disrupted/poor output after the gas tax holiday most likely will cause prices to riseThe gas tax provides money to maintain America’s fragile and crumbling transportation infrastructure so summer driving provides much needed funds for America's transportation infrastructureThe idea of a gas tax holiday illustrates how out of touch Clinton and McCain are with energy and environmental issues. Choosing The Wrong Place- A Common Mistake:
The rising popularity of plastic surgery, especially with the increase in reality shows and soaps that showcase the benefits of cosmetic enhancement, has called for an increase in demand for specialists who can provide exclusive expertise in this branch of medicine.A proliferation of unqualified plastic surgeons is one of the main problems that recognized boards try to prevent. Beverly Hills, California, is held to be the Mecca of plastic surgery; but in this bevy of surgeons, specialists, and consultants, it is important to remember that a trained and certified cosmetic surgeon is what matters. This is where a certifying body like the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), proves useful.A cosmetic surgeon’ credentials, experience, etc. have to be attested by such a governing body.

The last thing we need is A-Rod worried about trying to make the temporary transition back to shortstop. We have seen what can happen when a player is too worried about his position in the field and the effect it can have on their offensive performance, and taking anything away from A-Rod's O would add to an already big problem. In addition to the offensive issue, moving A-Rod back to short might significantly hurt the Yankee defense as well. The New York Times reports that the U.S. shipped four fuses for nuclear missile warheads to Taiwan instead of helicopter batteries (the shipment itself did not contain nuclear material, and the U.S. says this was not an intentional shipment). China, of course, can get kind of touchy about issues involving Taiwan. This is a weird story–the Times says the shipment was made more than a year ago, but the mistake was only noticed last week. This isn't the first time there's been a mistake made in this area–last year, six nuclear warheads were mistakenly flown from North Dakota to Louisiana. After last year's screw-up, the Air Force supposedly investigated. Might be worth it for Congress to hold hearings on this matter to find out why these two incidents occurred, and whether any

Thought of the day ~ Successful people reflects on their mistake
In this world, everyone makes mistakes. The only difference between the elites and the rest is how the elites reflects upon their mistakes and improve themselves. They would never let small small mistakes grow into huge mistake. So, how can you know when you've made a mistake? You definitely need somebody to feedback to you. This person could be your life partner, or your close friend. They are the ones who will truly feedback to you for your own good. However, nobody likes to be criticized and thus, feedback must be done tactfully. Otherwise, you will end up offending them. I made a (SEO) mistake...
When it comes to your SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) efforts it is REALLY important to keep your site updated with new and relevant information. This is one of the pillars of SEO or SEM - Search Engine Marketing. And I made a mistake... I went overseas for more than a month for my wedding, visiting family, and having a holiday, and I didn't employ any contingency plan for updating the blog or business site. I had limited internet access during this time, but google's spiders are unforgiving. Luckily my ranking didn't suffer too much for some categories and keyword searches, but everyday that you are not improving your SEO, your competitors are. They are creeping up in the rankings, and before you know it, you have lost that first page rank, to be banished to the oblivion beyond page 1.

A lot of those people quit blogging aster some time, because they don't feel that they are successful. Here are some mistakes that you should avoid making:Choosing a topic, that you don't like. Gluten Free Vanilla Sandies -- A Delicious Mistake!
If you are looking for a healthy gluten free cookie, please avert your eyes! These wonderful cookies do not have one healthy redeeming factor about them... but they are simply delicious! I am a sucker for sweet, soft, "melt in your mouth" baked goods.I came about these cookies quite by accident. They were supposed to be "big, fat, soft, white, sugar cookies." The only reason I do not think they fit into that category is because they are not "cakey" cookies, as I recall those big soft sugar cookies to be. To get that affect you would probably need to add another egg. Instead, what did result was a soft, yet "sandy" textured cookie that simply melts in your mouth. They are deceptively sweet and delicious! Perfect with a bowl of homemade ice-cream!Max likes to help me in the kitchen. These c

Consequently, I've spent all month trying to think about what to write about and dredging up all the memories of my biggest mistakes. It hasn't made for a good month. So I'm passing the bad energy on to you because I'm nice like that. Maybe your comments will help me come up with something creative for my writing group. So the question is, what is the the biggest or worst mistake you've ever made? I'm a little afraid to see what's going to happen with this question but hope it will make for some killer comments. As always, only anonymous comments allowed and I'll anonymize (yes, when you are as cool as me you can make up words) any comments that aren't.

      Common Investment Mistake
A common investment mistake for many people is they underestimate how long they will live. Today people are living longer on average compared with years gone by. Even if you do not agree with the fact that the average mortality rate is increasing, more people are reaching 80yrs old than ever before. You might be one of them. In which case, you need to think of having an investment strategy that takes into account your longer expectation of life on this earth and the lifestyle you want to live. Not only do you need to consider how long you might live, but also you need to allow for the unexpected. You could be involved in a road accident or some other freak event that caused you to suffer loss of some physical function like a kidney or lung or an eye and your ability to earn money. Yes,

Make it simple and do build your site relevant to what you are offer, images are OK when they help to transmit the message of the product, but only in this situation. If you use advertising like Adsense or similar you always have to bear in mind that this is a easy way for a visitor to leave your Website without to take any action in respect to your main offer.
