      A Miserable Road Trip
The last game of this trip went a lot like the first. The Bucs jumped out to a lead in the 2nd. One error with 2 outs and then a bunch of hits (keyed by a Nate double and Freddy homer) made it 6-0---really fast. Seemed like a laugher. -- It would end up being a laugher--but that wasn't apparent until the Sox scored 6 immediately following the Pirates rally. Just like that, 6-6. Ouch. Dumatrait ble

Bob Dole has self-righteously denounced Scott McClellan as "a miserable creature."  I don't want to pay too much attention to this attempt to shift the focus from the Bush administration's incompetence and malfeasance to the distracting inquiry into McClellan's inner life, but it's worth noting that Bob Dole did some pretty miserable things himself at a critical juncture in the nation's history,

      Rakhi making Kashmira’s life miserable?
For item girl Kashmira Shah, Rakhi Sawant isn’t the only problem obstructing her route to the top slot. While shooting for an item number in the tele-soap Anu Ki Ho Gayi Wah Bhai Wah, Kash slipped and had a bad fall. Asked if growing competition in the form of Rakhi and Sherlyn Chopra affected her, she smiled, “Nobody has given as many hit item numbers as I have. I have no competition. I’ll think about giving away the number one title sometime later.”Seems like the war of the item girls isn’t limited to just the top slot. Apparently, Rakhi and Kash leave no stone unturned to beat each other, whatever the platform. Wife Still Looks Utterly Miserable
This morning Wife was awake when I got up at 06:45. She told me that she slept all night last night, a full eight hours. I fixed us breakfast and went to work feeling pretty good. I just started a new full-time job less than two weeks ago and it still feels strange going a full day without being home. The children are staying with Fifth Sister (at Wife’s request for help) so I went to see them right after work for a few hours until Fifth Sister could come home to be with them. I didn’t get home to see Wife until 19:00 or so. Wife was sitting on the living room floor next to the heater vents and looked very miserable. Even though she slept last night her mind is still very tormented. She looks like she is in constant pain. It won’t be long now before she is shooting daggers at me with her eyes because of my “affairs.”

Read the blog feeds for the exact idea you wanna write about. Then decide all of the good ideas have already been done, because you know that few seconds ago someone took the last one. 8. Keep your mind focused on all of the things you have to do - like a TO DO list and focus on little time you have in hand to take care of all of them. Think about you are behind in getting them done and would not be possible now. 7. Don’t prioritize or make a plan for posting. 6. Answer every email, important or not, as soon as you get it. While you’re there, think of the ones you might write and write them before you do anything else. 5. If you finish with email and it’s still the same day, read other blogs that have no relationship to yours. 4. As you read and comment on blogs, notice how better other blogs are developed or post

      Middle-age men most miserable
In a UK survey, Middle-age most miserable for men, men in their late 30s and early 40s are the least satisfied members of society, even more dissatisfied than teenagers and the elderly. In a scale of 1-10, “men, who rated their youthful happiness as 7.3, plunged into an early mid-life crisis with those aged 35-44 reporting satisfaction levels at 6.8″ — the lowest of all groups. That may be news of a sort, that men go through a mid-life crisis, but isn’t it greater news that of all age groups, even the most miserable, these men, are still satisfied almost 70% of the time? Even teenagers, perceived as enraged and miserable, seemed relatively blissed-out in Britain where the average score was 7.3. But, hang-on, how much sense does this survey make? Men and women regarded their retirement years as the happiest period of their lives, with women over 65 scoring 7.65 and men of the same age at 7.8 on the scale. Clearly, these are statistics of expectation.

Canadian Universal Healthcare is a Miserable Failure and why Michael Moore and his Film, “Sicko” are Wrong
If you want to find the real story of Canada’s failed Universal Healthcare system, look no further than America’s boarder cities. The Buffalo News just reported a story about, Lindsay McCreith, a 66 year-old Canadian retired auto body shop owner. This story, accurately reported by Henry L. Davis, demonstrates why Michael Moore’s new propaganda film, “Sicko” is patently misleading.McCreith experienced seizures on Jan. 2, 2006, and was diagnosed with a benign tumor based on a CT scan. A physician at a Canadian hospital declined to order an MRI to rule out a malignancy. McCreith’s family doctor agreed to request the more-definitive scan, but McCreith was told he would have to wait over four months for the appointment.According to McCreith, had he been patient and followed the Canadian system, he would have died. Instead, McCreith went to Buffalo to receive treatment the very next day. In Buffalo, he was told he had a malignant tumor, which required a biopsy. After tryin

      Miserable
These days, bad news are getting me more miserable everyday… Few days ago (or last week?), there came the announcement of liquid-ban policy in KLIA now. My breastfeeding journey for Isabel is getting more and more bumpier. My first trip after maternity leave already challenged with this. It was to Chicago, USA, during the first month of the tension period. Ever since then, my breastfeeding journey has not gotten any easier. Now Malaysia airports also implement the same policy, which make it even worse. My last trip home from Houston was disasterous. I used the same technique I did from Chicago, i.e. put dry-ice (i.e. frozen CO2). But probably due to chilled ebm that I put instead of frozen ebm, and due to smaller amount this time, nearly half thawed when I reached home. I am extremely upset with this. But I still used the semi-thawed ebm for the following week, and re-freeze those that still look quite solid. Feel ’sayang’ if I have to throw all them away - 1

That accusation, first leveled in the fall of 2002, resulted in the rupture of an already tense relationship: The United States cut off oil supplies, and the North Koreans responded by throwing out international inspectors, building up their plutonium arsenal and, ultimately, producing that first plutonium bomb. But now, American intelligence officials are publicly softening their position, admitting to doubts about how much progress the uranium enrichment program has actually made. The result has been new questions about the Bush administration’s decis

Now, it has happened that people join for the wrong reason and end up liking it, but I want you to know that if your reason does not change, you may regret it. Here are the wrong reasons to join: 1. Money for college. There are lots of ways to get money for college even if you're not a genius. If you're poor, you'll get financial aid. If you're middle class, work! Or, get a loan.
