Ladies and Gentlemen, recently a man named Steve Herr made a comment that went like this:
"I have a simple message to everyone who is applauding the recent Supreme Court ruling regarding the 2nd Amendment: I am perfectly willing to not only let you have a gun but as many guns as you want. There’s
“I ask, who are the militia? They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers,” explained George Mason during the Virginia Constitution Convention. “A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves … and include all men capable of bearing arms,” declared Richard Henry Lee, a First Congress senator. “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the wh

CWG: What's the most unusual project you've worked on?I am a black female who does hard rock and heavy metal. But a few years ago, I was poached by a well known record label to perform a hit song in a different genre under an alias and in disguise and I played some high profile shows. It was a good laugh, but, eventually I had to let it die.CWG: If you could do one thing to make the world a sexie
Gonzalo Espinoza was born in Los Angeles, California in 1978. His parents, originally from Jalisco, Mexico, encouraged a young Gonzalo to master the art of communication in both English and Spanish, thus giving him the ability to compose original poetry, in both languages fluently, by the early age of twelve. He grew up in the streets of Los Angeles, with an admiration for sports, which evidently spawned the nickname “Sporty”. As he grew older, his appreciation for music deepened, but also his interest in drugs. This eventually led him on a path to imprisonment both physically and mentally. This was the beginning of a period when he was constantly in and out of jail and a vicious circle that needed to be broken. An internal force made him do something different with his life, a drastic
The Guardian, Nairobi (April 15 2008) - A British headteacher who was shot dead in Somalia by Islamist insurgents may have been targeted because he was a Christian convert, his wife said yesterday. Daud Hassan Ali, 64, was killed outside the Hiran community education project English school in Beledweyne in central Somalia late on Sunday night, along with Rehana Ahmed, 33, a fellow British Somali teacher. She was reported to have been shot in the head.Militiamen from the Shabab rebel group also killed two Kenyan teachers after forcing them out of their houses at the school, 190 miles north-west of the capital Mogadishu. A senior commander with the Shabab yesterday claimed the teachers had died in crossfire.Ali, the school's headmaster and founder, moved to Britain in 1967, and worked as a t
Indonesia's Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of a pro-Jakarta militia leader for human rights violations during East Timor's 1999 vote for independence, a judge said yesterday.Eurico Guterres was the only person jailed for the post-vote mayhem, blamed largely on militia backed by elements of the Indonesian army. He was serving a 10-year sentence ordered earlier by the top court. One of the judges reviewing the case, Joko Sarwoko, said that Guterres could not be held responsible because he was not in control of the militiamen. "The violence was spontaneous and unpremeditated. It was not widespread and systematic so the criteria for human rights violations were not met," he said. The latest decision is likely to anger human rights groups, who have criticised Indonesia's efforts to
Violence continues spreading across southern regions of Iraq and into Baghdad after at least 12 people were killed in Basra. A spokesperson for British forces, which are at the Basra airport, said the Iraqi army had mounted a cordon around two districts of the city and the police were attacking rebel outposts. Meanwhile, five [...]

Nassrallah latest angry and hateful speech was a sign of Hezbollah’s bankruptcy. Nassrallah did not even propose any effective or feasible solution. He just announced that he did not accept a presidential election by an absolute majority, or Siniora’s government temporarily taking up the president’s power. Nassrallah could not or did not wish to find a solution, instead he spent his speech insulting the 14 March coalition, which in turn resulted in a scalding response by Walid Joumblatt, who for the first time, since Nassrallah emerged on the political scene, practically insulted him! Meanwhile, Nassrallah haven’t even named his candidate, maybe he is waiting till after the election (sic). This whole thing reminds me of the crisis to pass the International Tribunal; Nassr
A renegade Mahdi Army militia commander is responsible for the kidnapping Sunday of 10 Shiite and Sunni tribal leaders.
Arkan Hasnawi, identified as a former brigade commander in Jaysh Al Mahdi, was behind the kidnappings, which took place in the Diyala Province as the chiefs were returning from a meeting in Baghdad with a representative of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
In August, radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr ordered his Mahdi Army fighters to law down their arms for up to six months in an attempt to stop attacks and reduce violence in the region.

Muqtada al-Sadr, powerful leader of Shiite militia forces ordered his followers to cease attacks on American and coalition forces until some semblance of order can be established in Iraq. He as upset at the growing factionalism which is causing Shiite militia to fight with one another and seriously impeding their ability to be unified. His [...]
I wasnt at all shocked when I was reading a liberal blog the other day and some dimwit was waxing eloquent on how we should be sucking up to Muqtada al-Sadr. The reasoning was that he controlled the mahdi militia and violence from them had dropped off while Sadr was in hiding in Iran recently. Huh? I wish I had a link to it but if I saved a link for every dumb ass post online by liberals I would be buried in them. But then these are the same people that loved Saddam Hussein, Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. He has recently contacted the Maliki government demanding an end to assassination attempts. It sounds like he is sweating things a wee bit. Anyway, it looks like we are putting some much deserved pressure on that little fat fuck al-Sadr and hopefully he will be getting his 72 virgins in the not too distant future. ~RJH MyWay News article link Mahdi Militia Hit by U.S., Iraqi TroopsBAGHDAD (AP) - As U.S. jets roared overhead, Mahdi Army militiamen on Sunday battled with Iraqi troops a
The Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia has taken root in South America, fostering a well-financed force of Islamist radicals. From its Western base in a remote region divided by the borders of Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina known as the Tri-border, or the Triple Frontier, Hezbollah has mined the frustrations of many Muslims among about 25,000 Arab residents whose families immigrated mainly from Lebanon. An investigation by Telemundo and NBC News has uncovered details of an extensive smuggling network run by Hezbollah. The operation funnels large sums of money to militia leaders in the Middle East and finances training camps, propaganda operations and bomb attacks in South America, according to U.S. and South American officials. U.S. officials fear that poorly patrolled borders and rampant corruption in the Tri-border region could make it easy for Hezbollah terrorists to infiltrate the southern U.S. border. In full
London, April 22 (DPA) Iraqi militia groups have drawn up detailed plans to seize English Prince Harry as a hostage when he arrives in the region next month, the British Observer newspaper reported Sunday.
According to the paper, paramilitary groups claimed they had informants in British military barracks in Iraq monitoring the 22-year-old Prince.
Militia leaders said photographs of Harry had already been disseminated among insurgent groups in the area where the prince would be deployed, The Observer reported.
The claims come amid public criticism that the British Ministry of Defence should not have allowed Prince Harry to serve in Iraq because he would be seen as a high-profile target.
Yet, despite the criticism, government officials have no intention of making the prince stay at home.
“The bad guys know that he’s coming, and we expect that they will consider him a high-profile scalp,” a spokesman for the Defence Ministry was quoted as saying Saturday by the paper.
U.S. warplanes blasted a militia team firing rocket-propelled grenades Saturday, the second day of heavy fighting in a major offensive to drive Shiite Mahdi Army militiamen out of Diwaniyah, a farm-belt city south of Baghdad. Maj. Gen. Othman Farhood al-Ghanemi, commander of the Iraqi army's 8th Division, said the U.S.-Iraqi operation to retake Diwaniyah took shape after a three-month crescendo of violence in which at least 58 people were killed or kidnapped. In violence leading up to the offensive, many women reportedly were killed after the hard-line fundamentalist militiamen accused them of violating their strict interpretation of Islamic morality.Al-Ghanemi told The Associated Press that militants were armed with rocket-propelled grenades, Katyusha rockets, Strela anti-aircraft rockets and AK-47 assault rifles. Before the offensive, militants attacked Iraqi and U.S. led coalition forces 17 times with roadside bombs, some of them armor-piercing explosively formed projectiles. The U.S

President Bush leaves White House press conference from the East Room, Februray 14, 2007. Photo by REUTERS/Jim Bourg.Wednesday President Bush said that he was convinced that factions within the Iranian government were supplying Shiite militia in Iraq with lethal weapons. The lethal weapons were used in roadside bombs and were said to have killed American troops in Iraq. "I can say with certainty that the Quds Force, a part of the Iranian government, has provided these sophisticated I.E.D.'s (improvised explosive devices) that have harmed our troops,"In the press conference on Wednesday, Bush said he was unsure whether or not people in the highest levels of the Iranian government knew or ordered the attacks. When asked by the press how he was so sure that the highest levels of government were involved in the shipment of lethal weapons to Iraq? He replied, "We don't know . . . whether the head leaders of Iran ordered" it, but here's my point, either they knew or didn't know,
