Ice Man Calleth 911: Vanilla Melee Caught On Tape
Posted on May 7th, 2008 2:14 pmFolks, brace yourselves. This 911 call is anything but Vanilla… ummm, Ice. Bad jokes aside, a bizarre call was placed to a police dispatcher April 10 after alleged rapper Vanilla Ice allegedly kicked and hit his wife Laura. This call - obtained by TMZ - can be listened to here.Vanilla Ice is a bit past his prime, and is experiencing personal issues as well. Halfway through, Laura Ice (probably not her name, but that’s what we’re calling her) starts talking to the 911 operator like he’s a couples counselor! It’s hilarious, albeit a little upsetting. You may recall that Vanilla Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) ended up being arrested and charged with battery after the aforementioned melee.

      Melee DPSing Mages in WoW
To begins Mages obviously do not have the innate capability to do even mentionable physical melee damage. However, this little tips may reveal a way for you to changes that (but not fully). Basically, you went to The Shadow Labyrinth instance. There are some set of mobs that at a certain amount of health, they will sometimes transmute or evolve their selfs to take the form of a great mini magmadar. This was a magical buff, and as so you may cast Spell Steal to capture the buff in two minutes. Now you have like +700 attack power, and attack twice as fast with melee attack. Now, the only way to really make any usage of this is to find melee dps cloth gear? Low, strength and agility! Unfortunately, the best you could find is a cloak, a dagger or a staff to be use.It is not that great for Mage

Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder-Civil in Bloody Melee
Train wreck singer Amy Winehouse got into another bizarre, bloody fight with her husband after he found her in a hotel “cutting” herself. But just 24 hours later, Winehouse was seen out and about, and claimed that the man she’d just “lost it” on had actually saved her life. Here’s how it went down, according to the UK’s Daily Mail: the songstress, who had left rehab - again - after just a few days and was holed up in the Sanderson Hotel in London, was spotted by photographers walking around London early Thursday with cuts and blood on her face. Her legs and feet were also bloodied, and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, had cuts all over himself as well.In a series of text messages posted on Perez Hilton, however, Amy explained she was “cutting herself” in her hotel and “after he found me … rightly said I wasn’t good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life.”Early this morning, at 4:00 a.m. London time, the couple was seen cleaned up and strolling arm-in-arm

      Melee!!!
Yesterday was pretty hot. We had the door propped open and the fan on, but still... hot. We had about 16 students at class yesterday, had a pretty decent warmup where we jogged, did some drills and some abs. My hip held up pretty well. Got sore from the jogging, but wasn't bad. The only two exercises I didn't do were the leg raises, which put too much strain on my hip right now, and about half of the neck exercises. Those kick my butt. I need to start doing those outside of class to increase my neck strength.Melee was, in Medieval times, the most dangerous and bloody event of any festival or tournament. Far more dangerous than jousting, this was the event where multiple knights would fight each other. Sometimes, these were mobs where it was every man for himself, and others would be divided into two teams. Some people believe that these bloody affairs resulted in Soccer. My opinions of that will have to wait for another post. At yesterday's class, we had our own version

      The Monday Melee
This was really interesting....I thought it would be great to try!1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.Mean-ness or bullying. I hate that people feel it necessary to pick on others. I was suspended from high school for two weeks for fighting half the football team after happening upon them teasing a mentally retarded boy that attended my art class.2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus. My best friend of 12 or more years. She met someone over the internet and now has changed her email addy's and won't return my phone calls.3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.oh, boy, lol. Just one??...J/K. At this very moment I'm unhappy with my inability to stand up for myself. I have "sucker" written across my forehead and I just let anyone take advantage.4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.I give my son credit....it's name is laughter.5. The Mirror: See s

Fracas’ The Monday Melee for May 14, 2007 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. I hate the kind of people who will fail to do anything to understand someone else’s medical condition… yet pass judgements on them regarding things they may do that are directly related to their medical condition. Whatever the name for that kind of thing is… I hate it. Pick up a fraccing book or use your computer for something other than searching for crap, learn something about what someone else is going through before you speak… or just shut up altogether. 2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus. Paris Hilton 3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.        1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. Monday Melee #2
From fracas.wordpress.com According to Roget's Thesauraus, a melee is anything from a fight or a brawl (or hmm.. a fracas) to a list of odds and ends, a potpourri or assortment of something, a mixture, a variety… even a salad. So each Monday, I and those participating, will use the following and appropriately assorted prompts, to create a post of interest. 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. People who fail to see beauty even when it’s standing right in front of their faces.  We went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art this weekend and it shocked me how many people simply seemed to be wandering through without really looking at the wonders around them. 2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that's phony, fraudulent or bogus. Two Detroit residents, Charla Nunlee and Christopher Hill,  have been charged with extortion and other counts after prosecutors say they faked the kidnapping of the woman’s two-year-old.  Their

Fracas’ The Monday Melee for May 7, 2007 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. The desire some have, for “everyone to like them” or that “I don’t want to make a fuss” thing, where it gets in the way of doing the right thing that just because it seems mean or bad, is really what needs to be done. For example.. watch the show Intervention. Notice how often people “don’t press charges” when really, it would be the kindest thing for the person? There are times in life, where pressing the charges are what makes the difference between a life saved and a life lost… sometimes their own, sometimes that of someone else. Press the charges. They won’t like you, granted… but I don’t think God’s criteria is that yo

From fracas.wordpress.com According to Roget’s Thesauraus, a melee is anything from a fight or a brawl (or hmm.. a fracas) to a list of odds and ends, a potpourri or assortment of something, a mixture, a variety… even a salad. So each Monday, I and those participating, will use the following and appropriately assorted prompts, to create a post of interest. 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. I hate how people are so often neglect common courtesy.  This weekend the family and I went to New Hope, PA for a couple of hours to break up the monotony and seemingly everywhere we went we ran into people who were completely oblivious to anything other than themselves.  Twice I ran into blatant rudeness.  Both times it was when I paused on the sidewalk and was nearly run over by foot traffic.  In one instance I had paused to allow a heavily pregnant teen the opportunity to pass in front of me and in the other I paused to allow a family to take a ph

      Monday Melee
The Monday Melee is a neat idea that I’ve decided to join in on, at least when I remember to LOL Check it out and join in 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. The apparent capability to harm your own child. Yes, it’s awful when someone harms a child - any child. But the simple IDEA that someone could hurt the child that they CREATED - mistreating them, hurting them, killing them - drives me batty. I simply cannot fathom it. 2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus. Supermodels. What exactly is so super about them? 3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with. At the moment, I’m unhappy with myself for not having any self-control recently. 4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can. My hubby, for getting up and going to work every day, in a field he doesn’t enjoy, even on the days he knows are gonna suck, and doing it simply beca

Fracas’ The Monday Melee for April 30, 2007 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. I hate it when people pretend to be your friend and then talk (in a negative way) about you or your family behind your back. Just grow a spine and say it to my/our face. 2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus. Tandy Anderson. Blech. Her comments praising model Marianne Berglund for her emaciated figure, while chastising model Jen Hunter for being too fat (though Jen looks fabulous) raised a lot of fuss. In fact, they prompted fracas to create the Thinspiration Petition. I think, given what Tandy herself looks like (as shown here), it’s clear that she’s a big phony. Yes, I know… she isn’t a model herself, only an agent. My poi

Fracas’ The Monday Melee for April 23, 2007 1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate. I really hate it when people believe that having more formal education than someone else actually makes them smarter or superior to someone else. Hey.. I happen to know some really cool people who are self-taught in their field, and who totally kick the asses of more “educated” people. 2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus. I know a few fraccers who will be pleased that this Monday, I’m choosing to name (and link) to Michael Moore as my pick for a big phony. See Michael Moore documentary sheds light on his controversial filmmaking tactics 3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with. The fact that I have to get my ea

It’s a disgusting thing to do  regardless of whether you’re a male or a female. Every person who spits/gobs/hocks up a loogie in public would just as likely be grossed out were someone (they considered to be less kempt than themselves) to spew a wad onto their shoes… so what makes them think theirs is any less offensive to someone other than themselves? “Saliva carries many easily caught diseases including tuberculosis, flu, encephalitis, meningitis and hundreds of cold bacteria. Lethal viruses can incubate and spread to other individuals who contact the spit in its slimy liquid form. Pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma and some communicable childhoo

      Schickel Insults Blogs; Melee Ensues
The last thing I expected to report from the Writing Today conference was that I was lured into a public SMACKDOWN over the value of blogs and blogging by Richard Schickel, film critic for Time magazine and author of many movie-related books. Mr. Schickel gave the keynote speech during Friday’s lunch. There was a moment of silence during the invocation before his speech, and I prayed the words I customarily pray before I give a presentation because I was scheduled to talk in the afternoon session. I asked God to guide me in my choice of words, for wisdom and self-restraint, and then I prayed that God provide anything else I needed that I’d forgotten to specifically request. That’s my spiritual-legal catchall phrase I tack on just before the Amen which provides an extra dollop of comfort. Thus armed with the Holy Spirit, I sat back as Mr. Schickel was introduced. I was gobbling up both my rice pilaf and his words because I’ve been reading and enjoying his movi
