      Turkey Meatball Soup
For some, 60 degrees F is still pretty warm. I see people out without jackets, some even in shorts. I, on the other hand, am deathly afraid of the cold and rain. I basically start preparations for hibernating around now and become home-bound by 50 degrees F. This is when I start consuming lots of soup, so here's the first one of the season, Turkey Meatball Soup. I made the meatballs very garlicky,

      Crockpot Swedish Meatball Recipe
My family, being mostly German and Scandinavian, often challenges me to make authentic recipes. My husband challenged me to make Hungarian Goulash, and a while back I was asked to make a Swedish meatball recipe with a twist - it had to be an easy crockpot recipe.A crockpot Swedish meatball recipe seemed ideal for me; Swedish meatballs are a dish that would only improve by marinating all day long. I came up with this, and although you can use frozen meatballs to make the super quick and easy version, I've included a very tasty recipe for homemade meatballs as well.2 - 12 ounce packages frozen meatballs1 cup water½ tsp nutmeg1 tsp minced onion½ tsp garlic powder½ tsp dill weed½ tsp black pepper4 ounces cubed goat cheese1 cup sour creamSpray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Seth Godin’s Meatball Sundae
We know there is lots of interest in social media right now from businesses. But there’s also significant hesitation due to lack of case studies and measurement, as well as a general fear of change. Enter Seth Godin’s Meatball Sundae, his latest book focused on the “New Marketing,” set for a December 27th release. Make no bones about it, this book arrives at the exact time it was needed. Now Corporate America has been told by its most revered marketer that the old ways aren’t working, and that it’s time to change — not just marketing, but also product development — to meet the new conversational media forms. Seth Godin tells them why they should be a part of the New Marketing. And he does it in his usual creative way: With the meatball allegory, plus 14 trends and a great group of refreshingly new case studies. This book will make it “safe” for many marketers to really begin actively experimenting with social media. An

Bakso or meatball or whatever :)
Bakso is Indonesia's meatball. it ussually served with soup, and also we could add tofu, and noodle in it. This is one of my favourite food I found a way how to make this Indonesian meatball, as usually google is my helper this is taken from here 1 kg of minced meat 2 eggs (only took the white) 300 grams of tapioca flour 4-7 cloves of garlic 1 red onion / regular onion is ok 1 teaspoon of white pepper 2 teaspoon of salt mix garlic, red onion, salt, and pepper in a mortar or mixer. Mix the spice-mixture with eggs, tapioca-flour, and minced meat. use fingers, add a cup of water and keep on working until the mixture feels soft and smooth Boil some water in rather large pot, at least 2 liters. Meatball-Tortellini Soup
Okay this recipe wouldn't by any standards be considered gourmet--I'm sure Martha would turn her nose up at it. But it's easy, it's healthy, it's tasty and everyone loves it. You really can't get better than that.If you're in an extra hurry use dehydrated onions in place of fresh and minced bottled garlic instead of fresh. It's also great served with popovers or crusty Italian bread on the side.1 large can of tomato juice2 28 ounce cans of crushed tomatoeshalf a box of chopped, frozen spinach4 garlic cloves, minced1 tablespoon of dried oregano1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme1 package frozen cheese-filled tortellini15 frozen prepared meatball--Costco variety work fineParmesan for toppingAdd the tomato juice through the thyme in a large stock pot. Fill one of the empty 28 ounce cans with water and add that as well. Bring to a boil, add the meatballs and tortellini then return the soup to a boil. Let simmer 10-15 minutes or until the meatball

      Lion's Head Meatball Soup
I may be in sunny California, but as soon as it turns dark, I still get the occasional shiver as the chilly spring breezes battle valiantly to fend off the advancing forces of the summer heat. Tonight, especially, is one of those nights when I would like nothing more than to wrap my cold, clammy hands around a bowl of hot soup and sink my teeth into something meaty. It didn't take long for my noggin to remind me of a dish I had seen at someone else's table on a recent visit to a Shanghai cuisine restaurant - Lion's Head Meatball Soup. Yes ! That should do the trick :)If you are unfamiliar with "Lion's Head Meatballs", they aren't really meatballs made from lion's heads. This popular Shanghai dish got it's name from the resemblance of the meatball to a lion's head and the accompanying napa cabbage to it's wavy mane. Funny thing is, as I was shaping the meatballs, my mind was actually conjuring up a visual of the movie "Monster's Ball" starring Simba (from "The Lion King") inst
