For a long time now I have used Nancy Zieman's way of measuring for patterns. But now am considering purchasing Pamela's Patterns. I have been trying to figure out how I could get a good measurement having had a mastectomy. When I wear my prothesis I still have a some space where my boob used to be. Hope this makes sense. I had thought about measuring making sure that the tape was over the bra strap, but there is so much space that I think the measurement will be too small. I have also thought about making a mark in the middle of my breast bone and in the middle of my back and measuring the non-mastectomy side and doubling that for my high bust.
