After blowing my McFarlane Halo load earlier in the week, I thought it was high time to share the rest of the images I gathered from the McFarlane Toys booth of goodness.
Spawn
There were enough Spawn figures to satisfy a Spawn fan and more than enough to satisfy a super casual, “Spawn’s kind of neat” follower like myself. The second wave for coolest Spawn figure series, The Adventures of Spawn was all up on display and the figures rocked.

Millionaire collector of fantastic balls and nerd dream maker, Todd McFarlane had one fine showing at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con. While the McFarlane Toys booth might not have been the flashiest, the display cases brought plenty of Teh Awesome to the show.

Todd McFarlane también estuvo en la Comic Con con un nuevo proyecto, el artista afirma que con todos los negocios que lleva y tres hijos no puede estar 12 horas dibujando como antaño. Sin embargo parece ser que Robert Kirkman se acercó a el y le propuso un proyecto que ya está en marcha y para el cual ya tienen un nombre, Haunt. McFarlane hará las portadas pero evidentemente no tendrá tiempo para dibujar y entintar el interior, pero si téndrá el control creativo hasta el final en lo referente a este comic. Esta es la imagen que fue mostrada.Por otra parte McFarlane está realizando un videojuego multijugador masivo online con el escritor de fantasía R.A. Salvatore. Además ampliará la lista de figuras basadas en la serie Perdidos con Eko, Sawyer, Sun y Jin, también habló de las de 24 mostrando a Bauer, nuevas figuras de los Simpsons y anuncia que ya tiene permiso para realizar las de Dr. Seuss, de hecho mostró al Grinch. Además tiene una nueva línea llamada Twisted X-Mas

When Joyride Studios went kaput, many were left wondering where they were going to get their 6″ Halo fix. Well, not to fear, boys and girls. Paul over at Toy Bender has given word that Todd McFarlane’s company has taken over, and will now be heading the Halo Toy parade for Halo 3, and possibly beyond. Says McFarlane:
Halo is one of the top video game franchises of all time. We get to put our company’s touch on a sci-fi epic that is visually and thematically stunning. Through its game-play, Halo has been able to attract a very large and loyal audience, most of whom happen to be our customers as well, which makes this an excellent partnership.
Suffice to say: Freaking Sweet. Now, if you are unaware of McFarlane’s work for whatever reason, let me reassure you that he’s in good hands. He’s known by many for doing his spot-on MLB figurines, like the one below:
