Just a little historical walk with my pal the Martini, why don’t you join us. The modern day true Martini consists of Gin and a varying amount of dry Vermouth and is sometimes garnished with an olive, twist or cocktail onion. But I’m no Martini purist, so if you add a little Vodka or mix in some chocolate, you have my permission to keep the name Martini. There are differing arguments as to the origin of the Martini, but the most detailed account lies with the Martinez from 1862. This drink calls for four parts red, sweet Vermouth to one part Gin and is garnished with a cherry, sounds good to me. The first Martinez was made with aromatic bitters and Old Tom Gin, which was very sweet compared to today’s take on the drink. The transformation from the Martinez to the Martini was a gradual one; first Old Tom Gin was replaced with London Dry, then orange bitters took over aromatic bitters’ place. Folks then began to replace the red, sweet Vermouth with a white, dry Vermouth. T

Martini is an excellent horse for intermediate riders. He loves jumping, sometimes Martini can get a little quick after jumps, but you need to understand its in his blood He got off the track when he was about 4 years old and now, hes 17 years old I bought him when he was 14 years old and we have been teaching him for a long time. We are selling Martini, because Im leaving for college soon and no one is able to ride him I just want him to be with a good family. He has been showed at the B and C levels, jumping 2' 9'' to 3'6''. Martini last owner showed him in all sorts of big possessions like Mini Prix, but I have trained him very well and have been taking it easy, I believe forcing, hurting, Hitting, spurring is not the answer to get horses over jumps if you ask Martini calmly he will go over, without refusing .I dont like pushing him. His gates are wonderful and get all of his lead changes. Martini has a wonderful personality, loves attention, a lot of fun to ride. He req

In celebration of my weekend visit to Hollywood Boulevard, This week's recipe is the Hollywood Martini. Experience it before summer is whisked out from under our feet.INGREDIENTS:1. 2 oz vodka2. 1 1/2 oz black raspberry liqueur3. 1/2 oz pineapple juicePREPARATION:Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
