Lawton, OK (ThaLunatic Daily) -- Bobby Kennedy, a 29 year old former teacher and youth pastor at Morningstar Academy in Apache Junction has been arrested after being a fugitive of justice for nearly three years.Kennedy was originally arrested in early 2005 upon accusations of molesting a 15 year old girl at the school, kissing her in the classroom and attempting to kiss her again in a janitor's closet. A few months later, two additional girls came forward with similar stories, according to court records. One student, 14 years of age disclosed that Kennedy threatened to fail her if she did not take nude photos of herself in the school bathroom. U.S. marshals seized $71,000 worth of goods from a Florida company that illegally marketed supplements to treat serious conditions such as diabetes, anemia and high blood pressure, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Friday. It said FulLife Natural Options, Inc., of Boca Raton, Florida, was marketing Charantea Ampalaya Capsules and Charantea Ampalaya Tea as an unapproved drug. "These claims are evident in the products' labeling, including promotional literature and FulLife's Internet Web site," the FDA said in a statement. "Despite FDA's warnings, the firm failed to bring its marketing into compliance with the law. During subsequent inspections, FDA inspectors found that the offending claims were still being made."   Rumors had spread across the internet over the weekend that there were shots being fired at Ed and Elaine Brown’s house. There were massive calls from across the country to 911 causing a second dispatcher to come in to help handle the calls. Authorities have denied the rumors. U.S. Marshal Steve Monier said yesterday that no law enforcement officers were at the Browns’ residence over the weekend. “I don’t know anything about it,” Monier said. “It’s not us, we’re not there.”   Residents of Plainfield also denied hearing any gunshots.  Well, it’s been a while since I last updated this story. Nothing much has happened, this has to be the quietest stand-off in United States history. All I can say is that the Brown’s are lucky Janet Reno still isn’t in charge, or the Brown’s would already be dead.   If you haven’t read my previous posts on this issue, you can read the back story here.   Up until now, the Browns have refused to pay only their federal income tax, they have paid all other taxes as they are just protesting the constitutionality of the federal income tax. Well now that has changed. There is nothing really new to report in the stand-off today, however there is an interesting little fact about Ed Brown’s past that has been discovered. He was pardoned by then Massachussets gov. Dukakis. He was convicted of assault and armed robbery. He was paroled in 1965. He was pardoned in 1976. Without this pardon, he would not have been able to legally purchase the weapons he now has. Randy Weaver, the focus of the botched 1992 federal raid in Ruby Ridge, stood with convicted tax resisters Ed and Elaine Brown yesterday in a show of solidarity. Ed and Elaine Brown say they will not back down, if they come to get us we will die. That is what Ed Brown said in a news conference that they held outside their home today. Federal marshals still say they have no plans to attack. Randy Weaver has now joined the Brown’s in their fight. It appears as though the government has taken the next step in the Browns stand-off with federal marshals. The federal government is attempting to make everyday life for convicted tax evaders Ed and Elaine Brown so uncomfortable they will surrender and begin serving their 63-month federal prison sentence. Stephen Monier, the U.S. marshal in New Hampshire, today said the government has severed the Browns’ telephone service, Internet access and power to their hilltop home in Plainfield. However, the Browns are not alone as many other tax protesters have come to be with them, providing them with supplies and weapons. Some declaring they are ready to fight. Plus, the Browns have been preparing for this day for a long time. He acknowledged, however, that other people are supplying the Browns with laptop computers, providing them with other internet access.  This is a story I have wanted to write about. It is a local New Hampshire story about two tax protesters in Plainfield New Hampshire. It has been in the local news here over the past few months, but I haven’t seen it on the national news. I thought it was time to get it out there. They have fortified their house and built a watchtower over the year preparing for this day. They have many weapons and food to last years. They believe that there is no law requiring them to pay federal income taxes. They have payed all local, and state property taxes they have owed over the years. There is a certain breed of person here at the Nedbank Golf Challenge. Their job is to make sure that when one of the golfers are about to execute their golf shot, the people in the gallery stop moving, making a noise and being general louts. They are the famous marshals. They walk with a pairing over all 18 holes and ensure that we, the regular Joes, comply with the etiquette of golf. The marshals wear a different colour golf shirt every day too. They all wear the same colour so that they can easily be seen. They also wear the most unfortunate pair of white pants with an elastic waist-band. Each of these marshals is issued with a little red flag on the end of a very long stick.
