His second album, Version focused on the Brit

That is my favorite tune of the moment!Despite her troubled ways, we love us some Amy Winehouse.
Paired with British musical magician, Mark Ronson, she delivers a sensational song!Amy was unavailable to shoot the video so she had to be replaced by many an Amy.Wonder what she's been doing?! ;)
She is truly a musical genius, no doubt about that.
Mark Ronson, producer to Amy Winehouse and brother to lesbian Samantha Ronson, has spoken out about the “couple” Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan. Even though Lohan’s rep and sister deny any romance with Ronson, Ronson’s brother has this comment to say about SamRo and LiLo.Ronson says: “My sister and Lindsay make a cute couple, don’t they?”
Couple?

Lindsay and Samantha have been spotted out constantly together over the last few weeks, and even enjoyed a warm embrace as Samantha visited Lohan on the set of her new movie, Labour Pains, before the pair zoomed off in Ronson’s black Porsche.
Lindsay’s father has already piped up that ‘anyone with half a brain can see they’re in a relationship’, and, now, Mark R

Super-producer Mark Ronson once got a 0 tip from P. Diddy. While Mark has made his name recently through his collaborations with some of the U.K.'s hottest singers including Amy Winehouse, he revealed he lived in New York in the early 90s and worked as a DJ for -a-night at various clubs.
This week I'd like to turn my attention to upcoming style icon Mark Ronson. With a Brit award for Best British Male Artist for his stylised ‘Versions’ album and a 2008 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year for his work with Amy Winehouse on the multi-award winning album ‘Back To Black’ behind him, you'd think that this man had enough strings to his bow already.
Increasingly however, hi
Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson are set to resume work on the new Bond theme tune after the pair buried the hatchet.

Amy Winehouse will no longer be singing the theme song to the new James Bond Quantum of Solace movie, as Mark Ronson has decided to pull the plug on the project. Ronson decided to end the recording sessions as she was showing some very erratic behavior and the producer became infuriated with her.
She was coming [...]

Depending on your point of view, Brit Award winning producer Mark Ronson is either a musical genius reviving life into tired old songs, or a big old plagiarist - stealing classic tunes and sticking a few horn samples in them.
Previous single Valerie, which featured beehived tramp-a-like Amy Winehouse was good because it turned a so-so [...]
If you in the UK you must have heard of Mark Ronson, he is a producer and co-founder of Allido Records has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Robbie Williams. Ronson received a Grammy nomination in early December 2007 for Producer of the Year, Non Classical, along with Timbaland and Mike Elizondo. Ronson's work with Amy Winehouse also received substantial praise, gaining 6 nominations. Back To Black, an album mostly produced by Ronson was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Rehab, received nods for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Song of the Year and, more importantly, Record of the Year. Ronson is credited as producer on a 'mixtape' album called 'Man In The Mirror',
Here Is A Group You Don't Often See Posted On My Site, "Maroon 5" have hooked up with the 'Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul' "Mary J Blige"."Wake Up Call" is a track that has already been released some time ago, so it is a little strange that now they would decide to make a remixed version. Still, with production from the UK's "Mark Ronson" & the fact that the original vocals have been re-recorded, shows a degree of 'effort' has been put into the song. The only issue with the track is that Mary completely kills it, she out shines the original vocals completely, so much that they feel unnecessary. However, I am a fan of the song & it shows that Mary is not afraid to step out of the box & still be an incredible talent.LISTEN: "Maroon 5 ft. While reading my daily blogs I stumbled upon this track by Mark Ronson which features Tasti’s favourite soul singer Ms Amy Winehouse. “Valerie” was first released by the The Zutons. It’s the third single to be taken from his covers album Version. It’s got an amazing beat and sounds fresh, me like! The video below doesn’t actually feature Amy but it does have some look-a-likes. Have a listen and leave a comment.

Last night I went to the Mark Ronson concert at the El Rey and ummmmmmm it was outstanding. If you don't know Mark Ronson's name, chances are you own one of his white-hot hits for other stars. He's the DJ-cum-producer responsible for large swathes of albums by Christina Aguilera, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse and Robbie Williams. He himself has produced an album - aptly titled Version - that reworks a slew of British indie hits into box-fresh hip-hop soul numbers. He is rather genius. The show was listed as 'Mark Ronson & The Version Players featuring Alex Greenwald, Daniel Merriweather, Kenna, Wale, Stuart Zender & more...' The suspense of 'more' was riveting, it was like receiving the Christmas gifts you wanted and then some. When I saw Santogold, Robbie Williams and Nikka Costa in the vip area I thought to myself, could they be?? Naw, they aren't performing. I was happily wrong!!! They all rocked it out and I was in heaven!! I didnt know that Alex Greenwald was the guy who sings

Ripped from his East Village Radio podcast.
Mark Ronson: I know somebody that only drank Vitamin Water for like a week–and had like, terrible, terrible diarrhea. Seriously, I don’t know if it was the Kelly Clarkson one, or the 50 Cent one, or what it was–
Fader guy: You’ve gotta have some rough-age
MR: You’ve gotta have it in moderation, that’s basically the lesson of Vitamin Water
FG: What is your tour beverage of choice? Alcohol doesn’t count–non-alcoholic beverages
MR: Well, my bass player Stewart likes Coke Zero, which I think is a–that’s not a man’s drink. So I think, Red Bull–water, water’s good.
FG: You know who’s a Coke Zero fan?
MR: Who’s that?
FG: Kanye West.
MR: Really… is he sponsored or something?
FG: no–he just likes it.
MR: It’s on his rider
FG: you know who’s a Crunk Juice fan?
MR: Let me guess…
FG: Chad of the Neptu

_ Obsessed with Coldplay's "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" but wish it were booty-shakeable? That was the predicament facing DJ Mark Ronson, who loved the midtempo Chris Martin tune but knew it would clear a dance floor quicker than you can say "make trade fair." But the budding producer -- recently acclaimed for his work with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen -- wasn't keen on simply adding a house beat to an existing Coldplay song. _As a DJ, sometimes you get bored," Ronson said. "You make remixes, mash-ups. But I'm a big music nerd, so I was like, 'Let's just do whole covers from scratch!' " The bopping Coldplay reinterpretation is just one of 11 funkified covers Ronson whipped up for his new album, Versions. Tracks by the Jam, Kasabian and even Britney Spears are also infused with new Ronson flavor. _To handle vocal duties, Ronson enlisted "people [he] was working with at the time." Therefore, Lily Allen rocks the Kaiser Chiefs' "Oh My God," Robbie Williams warbles a Charlatans
Mark Ronson who produced five tracks on Amy's latest Back To Black album (the five best tracks in my opinion) has released a new record of his own featuring a variety of my favorite Brit-pop lung launchers including Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Robbie Williams among others. Winehouse is featured on the Ronson reworking of Valerie an obscure recording by...
OK, so I listened to Mark Ronson's new album "Version" for the first time this week (it'll be released in the US next Tuesday). I'm totally fascinated by cross-genre covers, so for me this was easily the most interesting album I've heard in over a year. It gives me so much shit to talk about, it won't fit into one post. Let's start from the beginning.Track One: Coldplay's "God Put A Smile On Your Face"The Original: A nice, calming, alt-rock indie hit from Coldplay's second album.Mark Ronson's version: A wild soul-rock instrumental that's so much fun that I didn't even notice there were no vocals until two minutes into it. A-Track Two: Kaiser Chief's "Oh My God"The Original: A song that should/would have been a Brit indie classic if it hadn't been overshadowed by "I Predict a Riot"Mark Ronson's Version: An alt-pop song with Lily Allen on vocals. Impressive because they made it sound like it was originally by Lily Allen, but it's missing the original's insanely exciting b
