La actriz estadounidense Marilyn Monroe, nunca quiso morir sino que quería simular un suicidio, convencida de que iba a ser encontrada a tiempo y salvada con un lavado intestinal. Así lo reveló el diario británico Independent on Sunday.
Según el diario británico el caso salió a la luz por un inédito informe del FBI, que ahora está en poder del cineasta australiano Philippe Mora.
Según la misma fuente, aquello que debía ser una dramática puesta en escena al parecer se trató de un plan para eliminarla del por entonces el ministro de justicia Robert Kennedy, quien fue amante de la estrella.
Marilyn Monroe, tuvo también una relación amorosa con John F. Kennedy, en la época en la que éste era presidente de los Estados Unidos, y para los dos hermanos la actriz se había convertido en un peligro para la vida familiar y sus carreras políticas.
La actriz fue encontrada muerta el 5 de agosto de 1962 con el estómago lleno de barbitúricos.

The 2 bedroom apartment in LA costs $2,495,000 and the look and feel of the place reminds you of what Hollywood was like in early days, Monroe was not living in the apartment at the time of her untimely death but that does not mean the complex on which her apartment is on has not had it's fair share of dark news, many deaths have occurred here from Georgette Bauerdorf who strangled in 1944 she was a 23 year old heiress and there was also Dorothy Dandridge who in 1965 had committed suicide.
