PENANG: A dilapidated mansion in Relau is sending chills down the spines of nearby residents who have heard rumours of “souls'' in the building. Factory operator M. David Raj, 19, who has been hanging out at the Relau Villa mansion with his friends and cousins for the past five years, said he had on several occasions smelt “fish curry'' while they were there at about 7pm. “My friend once uttered some vulgar words while we were coming down the steps in the mansion and he suddenly went tumbling down,'' said Raj, who had heard rumours about a woman committing suicide in the mansion's pool. Another resident, who only wished to be known as Ah Beng, said a nun who used to live in the mansion grounds once told him that “something is always whispering'' to her. “I never got to find out what it was about because she died about three years ago,'' said Ah Beng. The now defunct DoomBuggyProductions.com site used to house a plethora of DIY Disney theme park projects. Unfortunately, real life got in the way of the owner and updates that used to be monthly started happening less and less frequent. Eventually, they stopped and the owner said that he would return at some point. Real life must still be in the way. Damn real life.
Fortunately, the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine had crawled the site and some of the projects can still be reviewed. After looking at some of the project pages, many of the images and graphics weren’t archived. That’s OK, though. There is enough info in the text and in the images that did manage to be archived that you can figure out how to complete the projects.. and improve upon them in many cases.
There are some recipies in there too.

I read in the AJC that over half of the 42 condos have been sold in The Mansion on Peachtree. I spoke a little about this project, and some other Buckhead condo projects, when it was announced early last year, but I thought I would refresh the information.
The Mansion on Peachtree will consist of 127 hotel rooms, 42 condo units and will rise 42 stories high when completed.
The 42 condo units will start at $2.6 million and go up towards $12 million to buy the penthouse.
The Mansion will be home to restaurants Craft Atlanta and Neo.
The AJC has a pretty neat aerial photo of the construction of The Mansion on Peachtree.
Spring of 2008 is still the projected grand opening date.
