i can hear the sound of your voice still ringing in my ears.it's official: i'm loving this brand new Jack's Mannequin track taken from their upcoming E.P. 'The Ghost Overground'. said E.P. is set for release tomorrow as an iTunes Store exclusive and was apparently created to appease fans in the long, long wait 'till September's 'The Glass Passenger'. it definitely worked for me - or maybe i'm just
One of the bands we got to see at the Hurricane Festival was a band called Die Mannequin. For me they were one of the best acts at the festival. Although they were pretty low on the bill, they rocked like they were playing in front of a million people. If you want to check [...]
When I was posting the photo of Massie's mannequin I noticed something that I just had to share with you guys! You may have noticed three pictures of "Massie" in the background. I zoomed in on the picture and got these photos at their regular size. When they are this big, you totally tell that they are really Elizabeth, the girl who plays Massie. They probably asked Elizabeth for photos of her and picked out the "Massie-est" ones. It isn't a huge news story but I thought it was really cool to see small details like this! So, check out these pictures of "Massie"!
Few writers have inspired such fanatical devotion as has German scholar and phrenologist, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. But who was Nietzsche? The brilliant academic conversant in epistemology? Or the sagacious skull-measurer who built an empire trading exotic monkey pelts? A survey of the scrawl he left behind provides clues to the identity of the mysterious litterateur.1872 – 6A youthful and exuberant Nietzsche burst onto the European intellectual landscape with the publication of his dissertation “Tragedy, Destruction, and other Virtues.” Its style—simple, direct, and insipid, was designed to antagonize an indifferent public. Here is the origin of philosophy as we know it, with its fundamental assertion that “semen has no conscience other than an occasional guilt trip disguised as logical schematism.” (Tragedy, 214) It was only the beginning. While the western world mulled over the peculiar decrees in his dissertation, Nietzsche quietly completed “Meditations I’ve trie
This is another shot of a mannequin through a shop window. I did a photowalk in Salzburg downtown when I saw this well-lit mannequin. If someone wants to join me in future photowalks in Salzburg or Innsbruck, please contact me. It would be fun to meet other photomaniacs :-)

It's a little late, but as we promised last week, every week a B-List celebrity (is there really any other kind?) will do a movie review of a classic movie that was severely under-appreciated in its own time. Through our experience with Wilford Brimley and Gary Coleman, we've learned that the best way to treat a B-List celebrity is just to give him/her free reign to write whatever they want. And with that, we present Patricia Heaton's review of "Mannequin 2".Good Evening,I'm Patricia Heaton and I've had a boob lift. That has absolutely nothing to do with my review, but I just wanted to remind everyone of that fact. Big fan of the plastic surgery. Big fan. Mighty big fan. I want to get a face lift so I can one day be attractive. There, it's been said. Sue me.Getting back to my review, which is the essence of this piece, not my boob lift, which I've had, and I'm proud of, I'd like to rave about the beauty of Mannequin 2 (a.k.a. Mannequin on the Move). What a great movie! I loved
This is a night shot of a shop window. It shows a mannequin wearing a fashionable gold coat. I like the lighting and the shadows which indicate the eyes. This is one of the pictures I took during a trip to Munich / Germany.

Take a look at the angle I got this woman at. You'd have thought she would have poked me with the back of the cue stick while she was taking a shot.
She didn't. She's not even real.

Kate Moss will play the dummy to mark the launch of her Topshop range. The supermodel plans to join mannequins in the window as her clothes go on sale at the chain's flagship store in London.A source said: "Kate plans to pose as a mannequin. Her biggest problem will be not giggling among the dummies. When the red curtain is drawn back and Kate has been seen in some of her items, the doors will open and the outfits will officially go on sale." Kate, 33, got £3million for putting her name to the range, which is launched on May 1.Meanwhile, she and Madonna, who has a range at H&M, were yesterday blasted by former Clothes Show host Jeff Banks over their fashion deals. He said it was "unfair" of people to become celebrity designers while those who train for years are pushed out.
A beautiful mannequin on a pretty white wall. With balloons, flowers, a birthday party? A nice addition to a nice cold winter birthday party indeed. Color strips :)
Give the fellow some nice comments.
