He added that he’d been shopping at Albertson’s for 30 years and that he was just trying the candy to see if he wanted to buy it. The store manager on duty told the deputy that he wanted charges brought against the suspect, who was also issued a t
A Pennsylvania man was arrested for trying to pay for groceries using a $1 million bank note. When the cashier told him that he didn't have change (or perhaps the fact that no bills like that exist in the present day), a manager came over and confiscated the bill. The man then turned hulk and got angry, destroying a electronic funds transfer machine and other pieces of supermarket property. The cops came and drug him away. The man has been unwilling to release his name or where he got the bill, as he did not carry any identification with him, but authorities believe that it originated from a Dallas-based ministry, who distributed $1 million notes last year with pamphlets.Yahoo: Link!

Police said that the man looked intoxicated, which was probably the reason by Shelton called 911 and said that he was “surrounded by Largo police.”

He called, standing there in their presence,” and that this must be “one of our ‘truth is stranger than fiction’ cases.” Even so, the man was arrested and faces a maximum of one year in jail and up to $1,000 in fines.
