Firstly it's appropriate to introduce our main star of the day-Labour Day! As we all know, today is a public holiday. So basically today no one need to use their fake MC slip to "play truant". Well, the celebration was rooted from the 8-hour-day movement! Meaning 8 hours for labouring, 8 hours for recreation and another 8 hours for dozing off!
Well today will surely be one hack of a day. I
The buzz around the Malaysian blogsphere these past few days have been centered around Clickbank opening up to Malaysia once again. The Clickbank affiliate platform have been one of the internet most successful stories that have been churning out success stories one after another.

I’m not kidding; Malaysian home based business entrepreneurs and online money makers working from home. Clickbank is now open for all Malaysians!Malaysians have been banned from joining Clickbank for years now and this new development is a big welcome and I’m sure that many Malaysians will be jumping for joy in the next few days.Yes, this is good news indeed and those Malaysians that have ‘cheated’ Clickbank by giving them virtual addresses somewhere in Singapore or any other countries that were not banned by Clickbank in the past can now cancel their virtual addresses and replace them with their own Malaysian addresses. :-)BuzzNet Tags: internet marketing tools, internet marketing tips, make money, make money from home, make money at home, blogging for money, viral traffic, affiliate mar
Indonesian soldiers assigned in a part of West Kalimantan bordering Malaysia recently found material evidence Malaysians engaged in illegal logging on Indonesian territory, a local military spokesman said. The evidence found by members of an army unit guarding the land border with Malaysia from the Siding Post consisted of a bulldozer bearing the Caterpillar brand and 83 logs each 12 meters long and 50 cm in diameter as well as bulldozer tracks crossing the border, chief information officer of the Tanjung Pura Military Command, Lt Col Andi Suyuti, said here Friday. The find was made by an eight-man patrol led by Lt Ade Tiana on Wednesday (March 5) at a spot about 75 meters from the border, Suyuti said. When the patrol arrived at the spot nobody was around but it was clear a tree-c
PHNOM PENH -- Six drunken Malaysian men were arrested and set to be deported from Cambodia on Friday, after they shouted at flight attendants and scared passengers on a flight from Kuala Lumpur, officials said. The six men were arrested as soon as the AirAsia Airbus A320 landed in Phnom Penh, airport police chief Chhour Kimny told Agence France-Presse. "They are drunk and demanded services that air hostesses don't provide. They made trouble on board the flight," he said. "They used a loud voice and had a verbal conflict with the air hostesses. They acted improperly and caused chaos among the passengers," he said. A top immigration official told AFP the six would be deported from Cambodia soon.It was not immediately known how many passengers were on board.Source: Inquirer.NetFM: The real re
Even though Mr. Lim Kit Siang has apologized and withdrew DAP’s plan to boycott PAS Assemblyman Mohamad Nizar Jamaludin swearing-in ceremony as Perak Menteri Besar, I personally view this latest fracas by DAP as some kind of message that they are trying to relay in silence to all Malaysians especially to Muslims and Malays:DAP, their leaders and staunch supporters will always have big problems with Islam and their main concern has always been and will always be PAS!DAP, their leaders and staunch supporters will always have problems in recognizing the rights of the Malays to administer and lead their homeland.DAP, their leaders and staunch supporters will always be a big pain in the neck for all Malaysians if they continue to behave like an unthankful jerk. PAS and PKR should seriously re
First and foremost, let me express ‘syukur’ to Allah swt for granting us poor and suffering Malaysians a glimmer of hope after the conclusion of the 2008 Malaysian election.Syukur Alhamdulillah… Allah is Great!Congratulations are in order for our defiant and hardworking political opposition parties who had worked really hard to achieve this unexpected ‘victory’. Sure, Barisan Nasional had won by a whisker through a simple majority but nobody gives a damn about them anymore. What is more important is that our political opposition parties had won 5 states and managed to prevent Barisan Nasional from wreaking more havoc with their two-third majority in the next 4 years.I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Malaysians doesn’t matter whether they are Malays, Chinese or
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu has lost the Sungai Siput parliamentary seat, while Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil lost the Lembah Pantai parliamentary seat to Nurul Izzah Anwar. One of my favorite online spots is Alexa Dot Com (Web Information Company) and I love to spend time there because I can learn so many things. I can catch and study current online trends and this brings me to the subject of today’s post.I’m worried, really really worried. I noticed that we have more and more Malaysians visiting porn sites nowadays. Alexa’s latest list of Top 100 sites visited by Malaysians for an example revealed that we have not one but two porn sites regularly visited by our Malaysians at the present time. Last few months, we only have one porn site in the Top 100 list, now we have two! This is sad, very sad.Malaysian network and IT administrators out there, you would be doing the nation a big favor by blocking the following popular porn sites from being accessed by

I don’t know about you folks but for me it is sad to see that Malaysians nowadays seems to have their lost their trust and faith in each other. I’m referring to that incident where SUHAKAM Commissioner (N. Siva Subramanian) was asked to leave a room holding a sensational forum (MalaysiaKini has more on this) by a few concerned Malaysian forum participants yesterday. Courtesy of MalaysiaKini I’m glad to see that Siva took the incident with an open heart. He doesn’t look pissed or angry about it. It is good to see that we have a calm and patient leader over at SUHAKAM. Whatever it is, I still have doubts about him though. :-) Related Post: 'Najis' in SPR's database? Well folks!MalaysiaKini had just released a spanking brand new video today. The video is all about BERSIH’s mass rally but this time their focus is different. It is no longer about the scenes of the rally or the aggression made by the authorities against the rally participants. This time around, MalaysiaKini gave us the opportunity to hear for our own selves the voices of the common people who had participated in last Saturday’s huge mass rally. I have taken a look at it and particularly like that one scene where we have one rally participant said that our election process ‘dilacurkan’ by the powers that be. Boy, he really nailed it right on the dot there! :-) Yeah, this is one fine example where our own native Bahasa sometimes can put the message across the board better than any other languages.Good work, MalaysiaKini. We should have more of this to let other Malaysians know that the past event was not political in nature. We need to combat the government’s media machinery; t
Folks!I could not believe that the US crude oil prices have hit above US$96.00 per barrel last Thursday! This is ridiculous!I’m sure you folks know that the government has promised not to raise the price of fuel anymore this year but this ridiculous news would definitely prompt the government to raise it once again next year. The bad news is that many poor Malaysians are not at all ready to cope with another oil price hike. :-(Yeah! The Rockefellers family would be grinning (check out Azly Rahman’s letter sent to MalaysiaKini on the 20th of March 2006) from ear to ear once again. They would make more millions and even billions out of this simple and seemingly innocent fuel hike exercise!According to REUTERS, our national inflation is all ready at its 7-year high of 4.8 percent. A local economist recently said that every 10 ‘sen’ increase in fuel prices would boost inflation further by another 0.3 percentage point on a year-average-basis!Die! Die! Die!What would ever happen next
Yes folks!Indeed! On this coming 10th of November 2007, we would know once and for all the true colors of all Malaysians.I’m sure by now you would know what we would have on that particular day. It is the day where BERSIH would organize what could be the biggest ever mass rally in Malaysian history! On the 30th of October 2007, PAS’s President Dato’ Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang has sent out a very strong directive to all PAS members. Every PAS members were instructed to come down to Merdeka Square on the 10th of November 2007 and lend their support. If that really happens, we can expect a huge crowd all right! The mass rally looks more and more like a Malaysian Malay agenda by the day. I do notice that our non-Malaysian Malays (refers to the non-Malays) are not at all interested with the giant event. Even MalaysiaKini and their many subscribers hardly make any buzz about it.Weird, huh? What I would like to ask today is why the non-Malaysian Malays (refers to the non-Malays) are n
You know folks, at first I thought that Malaysians in the online world are smarter than those living in ‘kampungs’ somewhere but perhaps today I have to change that perception a little bit.I’m sure that everyone is well aware about today’s big news story. I’m talking about the Anwar Ibrahim-ACA story. Before today’s event, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PKR told everyone that they would not yield to ACA’s request for the full and original copy of the sensational Lingam Tape video. After the dust has settled completely today however, Anwar Ibrahim and PKR gave the whole nation a big shock when they say that they were ready to hand over the full and original video to ACA earlier today (MalaysiaKini has more on this) but ACA had themselves to blame for not coming to get it.The news was greeted with glee by some folks who I suppose didn’t have the time to use their brains properly. Take a look at Ktemoc (my favorite spineless chicken of a blogger who talks mega big but unfor
Folks!Do you know that a lot of our Malaysian Muslims were not happy with the letter sent by Steve Oh and published by MalaysiaKini yesterday? The part that ticked us Muslims off most was some uncalled statements about our religious figures. Let me quote to you readers that particular part down below. Quote:“The government should look into the irresponsible behaviour of these anointed religious leaders. Not long ago on the ABC Four Corners programme, the Perak mufti was seen uttering seditious remarks which are totally untrue. In the interview he said, among other things, "Now the rich... now who's having the rich economy in this country... the Indians and the Chinese. They bully the Malays, that we know... that I know."And prior to that, he alluded to May 13 and implied that if non Muslims disturb his religion then there could be a repeat of the bloody riots instigated by politicians. We know how untrue and hurtful those false statements are. His interview can be watched on YouTube.
Folks!A lot of people have been criticizing me for being so unpatriotic about the National Angkasawan Programme and our first Malaysian in space event. Some even accused me of being a pessimist who likes to condemn everything that the government did as if nothing is ever good about them.To make things clear, I didn’t say that it is wrong for the nation to get involved in any space programs. I also didn’t say that Malaysians should not be wasting their time in space either. Space programs are actually good for any nation. There are so many things that we could learn from it in the end.I am not happy with our current space program simply because it was initiated at a very wrong time. We are not yet ready for it. We should not be spending millions of dollars on such space programs when our own backyard is very much in a state of disorder. Those millions should have been spent on other noble causes such as banishing poverty for good for an example.Maybe the following video would give y
I’m an internet marketer, a small time businessman really. I always thought that to make it big in business here in Malaysia, one have to ally themselves with Barisan Nasional and lick them at every single opportunity to secure mega millions worth of contracts and tenders.Well, I was wrong! As matter of fact, you can even be an instant millionaire by not allying yourself with Barisan Nasional!I’m referring to that astonishing law suit won by Abdul Malek Husin against the world’s greatest government for his arrest and unnecessary torture back in 1998. For your information, he was detained under the draconian and non-Islamic but Hadhari compliant Internal Security Act 1960. MalaysiaKini has more on this rags-to-riches story.Well… Well… Well…What goes around comes around after all. How does it feel, Barisan Nasional? We have hundreds possible thousands of ISA detainees in reality. Would this astonishing news motivate them to take similar action against the world’s greatest gov
Whoa! What sort of a question is that?Well folks, I just have to ask that question because I could not really believe that Malaysians would turn their backs on Barisan Nasional after supporting them for so many years.I’m not a fan of Barisan Nasional because I do not believe in supporting those who silently support racism and anarchy. Naturally, I would be ecstatic to hear that so many Malaysians today have voiced their support for Barisan Alternatif that comprises of our local political opposition parties.Take a look at this particular letter sent by Lau Sue Chau and published by MalaysiaKini yesterday. That was one stinging letter, wasn’t it? Let me quote my favorite part of his or her letter down below:“All we need to do is to wait for another year and so and cast our vote of discontentment against you to ensure that Barisan Nasional will be denied the two-third majority. We need a better check-and-balance system. If the BN government cannot ensure that to us, we have to mobilis
Well folks!Regular readers and visitors of this particular blog would have noticed that I have organized a few online polls in the last few weeks. The polls are still open though and you are more than welcomed to participate. The online polls are nothing extraordinary really. They were based upon some simple questions about our local political personalities and hot news which got the attention of our online alternative news providers such as MalaysiaKini, HarakahDaily and Malaysia Today recently. So far, I have three online polls; one on Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz and the other two are on Khairi Jamaluddin and the Lingam Tape video.First, let us see what my readers and visitors have to say about Nazri Abdul Aziz. In this poll, I asked my poll respondents on whether Pak Lah should sack him if he would not quit on his own. As of time of writing, 963 votes have been registered and 95% say that Pak Lah should sack Nazri Abdul Aziz from his current position! If only Pak Lah really
Well well well…MalaysiaKini has something quite special for their readers today. They have an exclusive interview with UMNO’s toughest guy, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz. MalaysiaKini has provided us with a video of that interview and I have provided it for you readers down below.Interesting eh? :-)Well Nazri Abdul Aziz, who asked the government to interfere in the affairs of the judiciary? We were asking the government to seriously look into the allegations that had arisen after the exposure of the Lingam Tape video. That’s all we were asking for. Your lackadaisical attempt to look into the case by setting up that Independent Panel is not convincing enough. We need more than that. We need to have a full fledged Royal Commission instead. We were not looking for interference, we were demanding for a full fair investigation! What is so difficult in setting up a Royal Commission of Inquiry? What are you folks scared of?By the way Nazri Abdul Aziz, this whole Lingam Tape saga ha
KUALA LUMPUR: According to a global survey, Malaysians have little to complain about in their more intimate moments. The 62 per cent who say they are more than satisfied with what takes place behind closed doors, puts Malaysia in sixth place among the 26 countries polled in the Durex Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey 07/08.Malaysia beat the global average of 50 per cent by 12 percentage points. But leading the charge is Nigeria, followed by Mexico, India, Brazil and China. The survey polled 1,026 heterosexuals in Malaysia. More than 26,000 people were surveyed globally. The country also scored quite high in frequency, with 35 per cent saying they do it three times a week or more. (The global average is 10 per cent). But, 54 per cent of Malaysians say this is not often enough, as opposed to 62 per cent worldwide.Sixty per cent of Malaysians consider themselves uninhibited, putting the country in 12th place, while 66 per cent (54 per cent globally) say they would act
Well well well…It seems like the much touted Beyonce debut concert here in Malaysia would not happen after all. At least that’s what MalaysiaKini has reported yesterday. Insiders said that the cancellation was due to Beyonce’s fears that her debut concert would be protested by some Muslim groups here in Malaysia. That’s interesting. Which Muslim groups were they referring to?Osama Bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda?PAS?UMNO Hadhari?Hmm… As a Muslim, I’m not all disappointed with Beyonce’s decision to cancel her debut concert. At the same time, I’m impressed with Beyonce’s show of respect for Muslims here in Malaysia. At least she got the decency to know that her debut concert might offend Malaysian Muslims and she made the decision to back out.Thank you for your kind consideration, Beyonce!By the way, I would like to remind our Muslim groups that they should not focus too much on foreign artists and superstars. Our own backyard is full with filth and we should clean ours first bef

Folks!Do you know that more than 20,000 Burmese took to the streets recently in probably Myanmar’s largest anti-government protest, the largest the country has ever seen in the last two decades? The strangest thing of all is that the anti-government protest is led by Buddhist monks and nuns! BBC News has more on this story.Luckily for Barisan Nasional, they do not have such threats looming over them for the time being. Hmm… Hold on a second!Maybe there is, after all. I do remember reading some reports published by MalaysiaKini and our Malaysian Bar Council on their websites recently that our lawyers would organize a peaceful stampede on this coming Wednesday. Come to think of it, our lawyers can be considered as monks too, monks of our Malaysian Bar Council. Both events do have some similarities after all! :-) Well, our lawyers would do their part to save this country from further decay in the next coming Wednesday
KUALA LUMPUR: Gullible Malaysians have lost a whopping RM35mil in the past seven months to an international syndicate in an elaborate SMS scam. Police learnt of the huge losses after 163 cases were reported since January. Forty people were detained recently in connection with the syndicate, based in Taiwan and Hong Kong, which has been operating here since 2006. “We believe the syndicate members raked in about RM5mil a month just by sending out SMSes to the Malaysian public, claiming that they had won a lucky draw. “Our investigations revealed that the syndicate either used a local or Hong Kong cellphone number,” Federal Commercial Crimes Investigations director Comm Datuk Ramli Yusof told The Star. He said the syndicate had devised at least seven types of SMS scams. It is learnt the syndicate in Taiwan had raked in an estimated $280mil Taiwanese dollars (RM29.7mil) in the past few years. At least 19 Taiwanese suspects had been detained in the past few weeks in X
You read it right all right. I just discovered yesterday that we now have a newly established Social Networking Site catered specifically for concerned Malaysians. This new Social Networking Site is called Malaysians Unite Against Corruption. It was established quite recently and as of time of writing they have a total of 68 registered members. I’m pretty sure that the number would grow exponentially in due time.To be honest, I did not have the faintest idea about the history of this new Social Networking Site. It just came out of nowhere recently and the site itself offers little information on their history and the backgrounds of the people running it. All I have is this little information given by their administrator that goes by the name of ‘dodgeek’. ‘dodgeek’ said, quote:“I just set up this website in a haste to create a discussion board for every single concerned Malaysian who would like to contribute their ideas and effort in helping to save our beloved country, Mala
More Malaysians are holidaying in the resort island of Bali in Indonesia with 43,678 arrivals recorded between January and June this year. Bali Governor Dewa Beratha said 32,674 Malaysians visited the island during the same period last year. Malaysians formed the fifth largest number of foreign tourists in Bali after Japan, Australia, Taiwan and South Korea, he said here after receiving a courtesy call from a group of journalists from Malaysia, Palau and Kiribati.
Yes, that is the question that we should all ask ourselves today. If you ask me personally, my answer is a big YES!
Come on now, admit it… Fess up… I’m sure that whoever is reading this right now has taken a peek at those porn websites sometime in your life… I can see that sly smile on your face all ready… :-) The thing is, what if you are obsessed about it? What if you could not help yourself
Relax, this would not turn ugly or sounds like I’m bashing our Malaysian Malay women (wanita Melayu) like what most perceived in my last few postings. :-) This posting is for all Malaysians in general. I know it would be hard for some to admit it but we are a lousy and lazy bunch of workers at work. Even Malaysian cabinet ministers have their lazy days from time to time. If there’s anybody out
I stumbled upon something quiet interesting over at Alexa Dot Org earlier today and thought that it might be okay if I share this with everyone of you out there.
I was curious to know what sort of news websites Malaysians are going for on the internet by mining such information over at Alexa but to my surprise I found something else that concerns me in way or two. It is hard to believe but it
PETALING JAYA: Nothing can stop a diehard fan. He woke up as early as anyone else to get his hands on the latest Harry Potter book, but disabled Melvin Tong in his stroller had to endure the ugly side of Malaysians when the Borders bookstore here opened its shutters. With the crowd outside not organised in queues, Melvin, 22, had to fight off shoving and pushing fans trying to get to the front of the line. As soon as the shutters opened at 7.01am, the crowd surged under the shutters “commando” style with some parents egging their children on. The lack of courtesy led to yelling and threats. The management finally let Melvin in with intervention from an anonymous bystander. Melvin, his twin brother Kelvin and friend Goh Kel Li had waited in line since 5.30am but only got the book at 7.45am. They even had to catch a cab when their car broke down on their way to the bookstore. Despite the earlier drama, Melvin good-naturedly posed for the cameras and granted a short interview.
I knew about this particular service provision for quite some time but I never did bother to highlight it in the past since I taught that they are some sort of a scam. However, some of my friends have so far said highly of their services and today I have decided to share this with my fellow readers.
By the way, my friends also told me that this new solution provider specializing in providing
Mention Clickbank and every internet marketers and money makers would normally smile since it is to most people their most treasured gold mine! Yes, they made a lot of money through Clickbank. After all, Clickbank is the largest digital marketplace for digital products in the online world. Most of the digital products are actually eBooks but I do notice that the current trends led by successful Clickbank publishers are more towards producing video products. It doesn’t really matter as long as both Clickbank publishers and their affiliates can make some decent money. Tonnes of it would be better, eh? To be an affiliate on Clickbank is chicken feed. Registration is fast and you can quickly join the rest of the 100,000 registered affiliates in no time. Unfortunately, many could not do so due to certain Clickbank’s strict (Loose actually! Read further and you would know why!) policies. Due to past histories of mega spamming and credit frauds by super smart idiots, residents of certa
No nude dancing allowed in Malaysia. Especially if you're a 'healer' and a woman at that:
Mokhtar Mohamad Noor, 53, a teacher who wanted his sick wife to be cured, said the healer gave his wife a drink and spoke an incantation before she and some male followers in their 20s and 30s started dancing in the nude, the Star newspaper reported.
"She kept muttering unintelligible incantations which sounded like the singing of Koranic verses," Mokhtar said, adding that the woman sat under a yellow umbrella and the dance continued before he left with his wife, tired of the group's antics.
The bomoh, or shaman, whom some superstitious Malaysians believe can call on spirits to assist in curative rituals, is based in the city of Kota Baru, Kelantan state.
"I want the state religious affairs department to take stern action against the bomoh whose healing practice is against Islamic teachings," the Star quoted a neighbour, Fuzi Nor, as saying.

PayPal is undoubtedly the world’s biggest online payment solution provider boasting well over 100 million account holders worldwide. Malaysians are no strangers to PayPal since they have been using them to make online purchases for years now. However, those that have their very own online businesses do have a little problem in using PayPal. Sending and receiving funds do not pose any problems to Malaysians but when it comes to making withdrawals, many Malaysian online entrepreneurs would face a brick wall.Ever since the 9 11 tragedy, the US government has tighten their grip on security and that affects their economic practices as well. New Bills and Legislations were introduced thus making life for Malaysian online entrepreneurs a bit more difficult. PayPal for an example forced a mandatory ruling that every Malaysian PayPal account holders may only withdraw funds to their US bank accounts. This is practically impossible for most Malaysians then since we are halfway across the world!
What we are about to share with you today is something that is dead serious but amazingly nobody knew about it here in Malaysia. It is widely believed by private medical practitioners here that the Malaysian Health Ministry is covering up any news or information with regards to Mesothelioma from the knowledge of the public for some dark reasons. Our sources have confirmed that the number of Malaysians secretly diagnosed with Mesothelioma is rising and it is high time that you would take this opportunity to learn more about this unknown type of cancer. What is Mesothelioma? Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that can be directly caused by previous and continuous exposure to asbestos. In this type of cancer, bad and malicious cells grew in numbers in the mesothelium. Mesothelium is a protective lining that protects most of our internal organs. Records have shown that Mesothelioma would normally attack the pleura, peritoneum or the peri
Malaysian Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said he had called on Malaysian citizens and media not to use the term "Indon" for Indonesia. "I have made an appeal to the Malaysian media and people not to use terms which could slacken the relations between Malaysia and Indonesia which have been good so far," the Malaysian Minister told ANTARA News on the sidelines of a conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) here on Thursday. He said Malaysia understood that the use of the word "Indon" hurts the feelings of the Indonesian people so that on Wednesday he called on the Malaysian public not to use the term. The ambassador said that Indonesia had actually objected to the use of the term a long time ago, but the Malaysian media remained using it for saving space in their newspapers. Two weeks ago, Indonesian citizens in Kuala Lumpur protested the Malaysian media for using "Indon" in their articles on Indonesia which they believed tended to create a

Comment: A unique feature of Malaysia. A country that is truly united, well, despite some shortcomings... KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be safe and prosperous forever if all races are to advance together in the pursuit for progress without leaving any group to lag behind, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said today. The Prime Minister said it was crucial for leaders of the respective races to also consider the aspirations and interests of the other races when pursuing the interests of their own community.Abdullah, said although it appeared that there was competition ain pursuing the progress of their respective races, it was a good friendly competition which would yield benefits to all communities."We have a common destiny, we have a common struggle...the struggle for the future of Malaysia," he said, adding that Malaysia and the people are safe throughout the 50 years of independence."While we want the nation to progress, we don't want any race to lag far behind. By Zulkiple IbrahimKUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- One evening during the fasting month last year, 46-year-old Noordin Sulaiman, felt some pain in the left side of his abdomen.Thinking that it was the time to answer nature's call, Noordin went to the toilet. What came out shocked the lorry driver. It was bucketfuls of blood.Noordin was immediately rushed to a public medical centre here where doctors told him that that his blood haemoglobin count had fallen to the dangerous level of 4.0 due to the massive blood loss.He was warded for two weeks and a series of tests was carried out including an endoscopy which proved to be inconclusive. Finally a computerised tomography (CT) scan was done but that too was inconclusive. Noordin had no history of gastric ulcers and doctors were baffled to the cause of the sudden intestinal bleeding. Comment: I'm at odds with this. On one hand, it is good that she had been to the two poles but the results? Just being the first Malaysian woman to be there. Fine. But then there were others (not Malaysians) who were there before her. Ideally, the next exploration should be scientific-based, not just because of the two poles are there waiting to be conquered (which by the way is a misnomer since the two poles had been conquered many times over). Make it more meaningful and with basis. Just because it was there isn't a good enough excuse anymore. SEPANG, April 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's first woman to explore the Arctic and Antarctica regions, Datin Paduka Sharifah Mazlina Syed Abdul Kadir, wants young Malaysians to continue with her expedition to the North and South Poles."I want to challenge Malaysians regardless of age and gender. Go there and bring back the time capsule buried in Antarctica to Malaysia. It can be anybody. If there is someone prepared to go, I'm w
Comment: Let's get one thing straight... The Government wants more tourists from abroad, why hassle the locals? Or is it just another way of wasting public funds? Who is going to tabulate the findings on the forms? What is there to prevent those filling it up (assuming it happens) from writing untruths? What then? A lie detector test? Get real...By MAZWIN NIK ANIS PUTRAJAYA: Millions of Malaysians travel abroad and so the Tourism Ministry wants to know why they go overseas and what do they do there. So it has proposed that Malaysians fill in a special form when they leave the country. Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said that according to Immigration Department records, 15 million Malaysians travelled overseas last year and the figure was just about two million less than the number of tourist arrivals, totalling 17.5 million. “Since we currently do not require those leaving the country to fill up any forms, we do not know what Malaysians do overseas. “The

Jeremy Clarkson has sparked an international incident after he offended the Malaysian government with a sledgehammer stunt he performed on Top Gear.
The always outspoken Clarkson called the Malaysian-made Perodua Kelisa car the “worst in the world” and “unimaginative junk, with no soul, no flair and no passion”.
The BBC’s resident motor mouth then bashed the Perodua Kelisa with a sledgehammer and hung it from a crane before blowing the car up.
Although the programme originally aired two years ago, Clarkson’s actions provoked outrage in Malaysia this week, and he was attacked in the country’s parliament.
Senator Datuk Abdul Raman Suliman said: “The negative comments made by Jeremy Clarkson were his personal opinion. Perodua has been exporting the Kelisa since 2001 without similar comments,” he told the Malaysian newspaper Dewan Rakyat.
“He is like a soccer commentator, he does not play the game but know
