Having slept on it, figuratively speaking, I've come to the conclusion that installing MOSS directly onto the Exchange 2007 Server was not a great idea, so I've uninstalled it this morning. What I've done instead is rebuild a HP DL380 G4 64-bit Server using the HP ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack and Microsoft Windows 2003 Enterprise Server 64-bit Edition. This has given me the ability to set the appropriate Partition sizes without spending money on Acronis or Paragon partition server (the previous root partition was only 8GB and ran out of disk space very quickly). The new root partition is 32GB and the Page File Partition is 16GB. At the moment the machine is downloading service packs and patches but I hope shortly to begin the process of building MOSS on a nice clean server - fit for purpose.
