ENDS AND MEANS: KILLING THE MAHATMA
“At the heart of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violence, was his belief...that means and ends are inseparable, and that in fact the means themselves shape the ends. He believed unworthy means can never produce worthy ends.” These stirring words were spoken by Sonia Gandhi in the United Nations on October 02, 2007 on the occasion of the first observance of the international day of non-vi

For the Poster Man of India (Mahatma Gandhi)
This is a off-topic post, which I wish to share with all the readers Today is 2nd October which most of the peoples celebrate as Holiday and many hates becuase of a dry-day, Yes today is the Gandhi Jayanti. First thing I have done today morning to read news paper which was short of any good news and a lot of posters of Gandh Ji whith almost all the Goverments department putting a almost half page colour page advertisement which was showing their love for the Great Man. There were pictures of more than 50 differnt peoples whom I have never seen or read about neither I am interested to. Question comes to my mind that is this the only way we remember Gandhi Ji? Just puting his picture with their own? What no one noticed is that how much money Goverment have given for these advertisements, no one is interested in that. But I felt really bad thinkng of all the departments are giving their seperate advertiment.I Hate politicians!!

      The Mahatma
Exactly 60 years ago, a lean man clad in a dhoti took on the mighty english empire, without any arms or, weapons. He won the freedom for our country with his simplicity and his mantra of non-violence. The youth has no given this mantra a new name-"gandhigiri".We might call it with whatever name we would want to, but the important question is, "Are we still following those simple principles". My answer to this question would be a big "NO". We are not following his principles. We and our political leaders would flaunt our khadi dresses, or deliver speeches on the mahatma, but we seldom care to follow his simple principles.Be it a simple brushing of my vehicle to another one, or a love-affair between my sister and a person whom I do not like, we prefer to settle it once and for all. Murder them. From children who are less than 16 years old to elderly who are above 80 years,we have finally taken to the killing way to achieve our goals. Is this what the mahatma taught us. Probably not. Only

Seven Blunders of the World by Mahatma Gandhi
The Seven Blunders of the World is a list that Mahatma Gandhi gave to his grandson Arun Gandhi, written on a piece of paper, on their final day together, not too long before his assassination.[1] The seven blunders are: Wealth without workPleasure without conscienceKnowledge without characterCommerce without moralityScience without humanityWorship without sacrificePolitics without principle This list grew from Gandhi's search for the roots of violence. He called these acts of passive violence. Preventing these is the best way to prevent oneself or one's society from reaching a point of violence. To this list, Arun Gandhi added an eighth blunder, Rights without responsibilities.Source

The men who discovered for us the law of love were greater scientists than any of our modern scientists... The more I work with this law, the more I feel the delight in life, the delight in the scheme of this universe. It gives me a peace and a meaning of the mysteries of nature that I have no power to describe."-- Mahatma GandhiFor Andy Tay, upon his return, after the start of his great journey of self-discovery.As usual, please feel free to send me your thoughts and comments to Info@DifferWorld.com And if you'd like to explore how you, your teams and your organization can benefit from the above and other DifferWorld initiatives please feel free to drop me a note by clicking here, or call me at DIFFERWORLD at SKYPE now! Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi(Indian: 1869-1948) That which distinguishes man from all other animals is his capacity to be nonviolent. True humility, therefore, requires us to dedicate ourselves to the service of all living creatures. Civility does not here mean mere outward gentleness of speech cultivated for the occasion, but an in-born gentleness and desire to do the opponent good. It is our actions which count. Thoughts, however good in themselves, are like false pearls unless they are translated into action. Formerly, men worked in the open air only so much as they liked. Now thousands of workmen meet together and for the sake of maintenance work in factories or mines. Their condition is worse than that of beasts. They are obliged to work, at the risk of their lives, at most dangerous occupations, for the sake of millionaires. Formerly, men were made slaves under physical compulsion. Now they are enslaved by the temptation o
