So this guy insists he’s not lying. It’s a screen shot of his MacBook Pro (2.2 GHz and 4GB RAM) with 150 programs running simultaneously, smoothly even. He’s activated Exposé so that we can see all of ‘em. I do not believe him, but then again, I’m a cynic. Always have been, always will be. Aunque se esperaban novedades muy importantes al final no lo han sido tanto.La más destacable es que los nuevos MacBook van equipados con procesadores con núcleo Santa Rosa. Además la gráfica pasa a ser la GMA X3100 de Intel con 144 Mb de memoria frente a las 64 Mb del anterior Mac Book.
La versión más básica que se puede comprar trae un disco duro de 80 GB y 1GB de DDR2 a 667Mhz. Su precio es de 900 euros. Pagando un poco más puedes llevarte un MacBook con 160Gb de disco duro y 4gb de memoria.
En cuanto a los MacBook Pro también usan procesadores Santa Rosa. El MacBook Pro de 15 pulgadas está disponible con procesadores Core 2 Duo de Intel a 2,2 GHz o 2,4 Ghz. La capacidad del disco duro varía de los 120 a los 250 gigabytes. Además lleva 2Gb de DDR2 ampliables.

Una web llamada Computer Choppers ha diseñado un mod sobre un MacBook Pro, recubierto con oro de 24 quilates y con diamantes en el logotipo de la manzana.
Todo ha sido modificado en el aspecto externo del dispositivo. Desde el teclado, a juego con el color de la carcasa, así como el logotipo… y todo hecho a mano. Apple has released MacBook Pro Software Update 1.0 for its recently released professional line of LED-based laptops. The company doesn’t provide too much detail, but said that the “update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all 2.2/2.4GHz MacBook Pro models.” It requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later. The 14.7MB update is available online. Earlier this week the company updated its SuperDrive firmware for older Intel-based laptops as well as posted an update to Final Cut Pro 6 (and other relateed professional applications in Final Cut Studio 2).

Along with new CPUs, the new models offer twice as much RAM, greater hard disk space and a Firewire 800 port, which allows greater transfer speeds and longer cable lengths.
