I hardly ever watch NBC these days, but I remember when they used to run these commercials called The More You Know that featured actors from NBC shows, usually comedies like Will and Grace or some such. They were PSAs about how drunk driving might be a bad idea or taking drugs could potentially screw your life up, that kind of thing. I was always greatly amused by these commercials. Regardless of who won the debate, it was blatantly clear that the Senator Clinton expressed vulnerability that she has yet to express in her campaign. Thus far, Clinton has run an exceptional campaign with few blemishes, which adds even more to the vulnerability she expressed. The article writes that patients who developed a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) can sue the airline if they were not allowed to move to an empty seat with more leg room. I realize that a DVT can be fatal. So its not something that should be taken lightly. But this whole thing seems like a bad idea to me. If this case goes in favor of the passengers, will the airlines resort to taking out a few rows and raising airfare to avoid a future lawsuit? And what about people who love taking advantage of “the system.” I can imagine someone tired of sitting in economy asking the flight attendant if there are any empty seats in the first class cabin because they are at risk for a DVT. The last few days have seen what can be considered nothing other then a coordinated effort by the gals over at PMSNBC and the Clinton News Network to attack Fox News, Bill O'Reilly et al. While MSNBC refuses to run pro-war advertisements, they have provided John Edwards a two-minute advertising slot to bash President Bush and rebut the War in Iraq. Yes, John Edwards has purchased two minutes of air time on MSNBC, scheduled to air after Bush's 15-minute televised speech from the White House at 9 p.m. EDT. This is nothing but a pathetic political ploy from a man who voted for the War.Embarrassingly, John Edwards has already taped the rebuttal, making this “rebuttal” an oxymoron.
