I recently did an experiment where I used Ask.com as my main search engine. While the Ask.com SERPs have the best organization of the major search engines, the actual organic search results from Ask.com are not good.
Because of the less-than-ideal organic search results, webmasters and SEOs don’t take Ask.com seriously. Ask.com doesn’t bring traffic so SEOs don’t even mention it when talking about major search engines. This is bad for Ask.com. Search engines need the active support of webmasters. Webmasters give search engines free coverage and links. Links are (obviously) good for traffic. For example, Yahoo.com pages frequently come up in the Google SERPs.
One way that Ask.com could start getting positive coverage and links from webmasters and SEOs is to offer genuinely useful webmaster tools.

First it was its endless coverage of the greedy but folksy mine owner Murray. The mainstream media dutifully repeatedly reported his ridiculous assertion that the mine collapses were the result of earthquakes. Not one news outlet dared to call in a USGS expert to perhaps dispel the lie or even question that Utah isn't exactly known for its seismic activity.
Next was the resignation of Attorney General Gonzales. CNN had a long bit about how "lonely" the president must be feeling with all of this resignations (Karl Rove being the other). Not one looked at the obvious political motivations behind the resignations (neither Rove nor Gonzales are doing the party any good just over a year before an election), and none even considered Bush might have known about them in advance. Can they be this stupid?

I have readed several articles about this event time ago, but I never had the opportunity and time to go. Finally my company (SEUR) has inscribed me due to the great way Terrapinn (organizer) people convinced me about the importance of my assistance. Thay use a great multichannel relationship strategy to obtain attendants to the conference. I will explain all the steps:1. First of all I recieved a newsletter from Colloquy (great site about loyalty) where the conference was announced.2. I visited the Loyalty World Europe 2007 website and registered to download the programme.3. I remember flashes of the night. A tall black guy approaching me at the crowded bar of some dimly lit club or other.
