How does one do Bon Jovi a justifiable review in one post? That’s what I started asking myself when I got to writing this post, where I’m bringing you the first single from Bon Jovi’s 10 studio album, Lost Highway.
The good thing about Bon Jovi though is that you don’t need to introduce him to anyone, since they’re most likely been to one of his 2500 concerts in over 50 countries world-wide, bought one of his 10 studio albums which sold 125 million copies all around the world, or simply heard one of his hit singles being played on radio. So let’s skip the introductions and get right down to it.
Lost Highway is album with a haunting set of 12 new and original sounding songs, is a stunning, multi-layered look into the nature of love and life in all its glory. It focuses on the light that love brings. The first single on this album, Lost Highway, is spectacular song to say the least, both in terms of meaning and melody.

Bon Jovi has announced the first round of dates for a mammoth tour that will take the veteran rockers to more than 10 countries around the world over the next half year. “We’re starting in New Jersey and then taking it to the world,” lead singer Jon Bon Jovi told a packed house Thursday night [...]
Spooky and cool--those two words pretty much sum up this soundtrack for David Lynch's stranger-than-usual movie. It's a mix of hard-edged techno-industrial, slightly spooky jazz, and orchestral compositions from Angelo Badalamenti. David Bowie's "I'm Deranged" is a major highlight, proving once...

I took a little trip to Barcelona with friends and just returned this Sunday, so therefore I wasn't able to watch any films and update the blog. But today I went back to watching films again and thought it was time to watch Lost Highway by director David Lynch. Known for his complicated style of story-telling Lynch always knows how to challenge his audience. He's great in creating atmosphere and always comes up with something interesting. Therefore, I don't think you can ever say his films bore you. You might be put off by confusion, but I don't think you can ever be bored by a Lynch film. Because there's always something happening, in sight or out of sight, something's always going on. And if the story isn't interesting enough, than the sets, the movement of the camera, music or things like lighting will be. Take for instance the opening shot of the highway covered in blackness, only illuminated by the car's headlights. It immediately catches your attention and puts thoughts i

Serious country fans know that "Lost Highway" is a Leon Payne-written Hank Williams classic, but even though Bon Jovi's 2007 album shamelessly trades on iconographic country imagery in a bid for a genre-skipping crossover hit, it's designed for those country fans who don't much care about Hank's legend (never mind knowing anything about Leon
Bon Jovi's sold 292,000 copies of "Lost Highway" in the week ended June 24 topping U.S. album charts for the first time since 1988. The rock duo, White Stripes debut No 2, their personal best with their latest release. This is the groups biggest one week sales since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales data in 1991.
Bon Jovi is back with their brand-new album entitled: "Lost Highway". After playing all tracks, I can say this album explains why life is a journey and at the same time adventure. The band sounds a lot softer than the usual Rock and explores more into Country music. I am not saying that it's a must have album but having it won't disappoint you. The groups' collaboration with equally talented singer LeAnn Rimes must not be overlooked since they blend very well. Bon Jovi may have changed direction from Rock to Country on this album, but it's certainly no dead end. Album already out so grabbed a copy now. Frontman Jon is one of the better singers to come out of the Glam Rock era which, not discounting his unwavering good looks and ability to cross into varying media platforms, is why he and his band are still here. So regardless of what critics might say about Lost Highway, it can never be said those five guys from Jersey ever took the road less traveled.

Bon Jovi - Lost Highway [Retail]Man have these guy's been around for awhile. I think that have been out since 1983, so this is really out of my league. All I know is that my mom's a huge fan of them, and I've had to go on with days of listening to them. With this album fan's were worried with them heading towards a country sound. Yes, the album does have a country/fiddle type sound to it, but Bon Jovi still stay true to thier rock sound.
