It seems that there are finally a few more details on Cave's new shooter revealed earlier this year. According to Mihara (CEO of Arika and the one responsible for the Ketsui DS project), a post on the Japanese site Mixi has stated that the working title for the new shooter is called "Death Lolita". There was no mention of any additional details about the game, but the post does bring up that Cave also appears to be hiring some people for Cosplay-ing at upcoming events. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to view the post in question since a registration and log-in is required to access the Mixi page, but I have no reason to doubt the information provided.As fans of the game may remember, Gamengai originally broke the news of a new Cave game with their post featuring the flyer sent out with the soundtrack CD of Mushihimesama Futari. Special thanks for Gamengai again for pointing out this new information from Mihara.
Gothic Lolita style is usually a combination of black and white, often black with white lace and typically decorated with ribbons and lace trims. Skirts are knee length and may have a crinoline or petticoat to add volume. As in mainstream Japanese fashion, over-knee socks or stockings are extremely popular.
Black fishnet stockings and white or black tights are also common. Shoes or boots with high heels, think platforms rather than stilettos, complete the look.
Frilly, ruffled or lace-trimmed Victorian blouses are also popular especially with Elegant Goth Lolitas, who may also favour long skirts and jackets rather than the overtly ‘childish’ designs of the typical Gothloli.
Apart from occasionally short skirts, Lolita Goth designs are usually modest, sometimes with long lace-capped sleeves and/or high-necked blouses.
