The Logan seems to have worked for Mahindra and the statistics describe it's runaway success; 12% of the C segment market share.The alternate fuels will power the 1.6 litre petrol variant, which will approximately become dearer by 50,000 rupees. The low-cost Dacia/Renault Logan has been spotted in its 4-wheel drive form. The boxy sedan sells like hotcakes in parts of Europe and the initial idea of Dacia was to create a low cost basic sedan that would take customers from Point A to B. The front-engined, front-wheel drive car has taken the 4-wheel drive transformation. Why? Hmm..I'm not exactly sure...The Logan platform has been used extensively by the company to make anything from station-wagons to pickup trucks and maybe now, its time for a SUV to take shape? I guess Dacia/Renault are putting this platform to good use. The 4 wheel drive version could cater to cost conscious customers who want to do some serious mud plugging and conquer tough terrains.

Aimed at European buyers in search of an inexpensive B-Segment car, Dacia revealed the all-new Dacia Sandero compact hatch in Geneva. The Fiesta-sized hatch, which is also sold in the South American market as the Renault Sandero, is based on the same B0 platform as the Logan. The newcomer in Dacia’s Euro range is manufactured in Pitesti, Romania and it will gradually go on sale in the majority of European markets starting from June 2008. Two adjacent floors of a former factory were joined by removing a quadrant of the floor area between them, creating a double-height space that links all parts of the loft. A large, new opening in the exterior wall replaced two rows of existing windows. Industrial steel sashes were used to break down the scale of the opening and to reference neighboring natural-light factories. Public areas on the lower level utilize a concrete floor—a nod to the building’s past— while wide-board oak was used for the stairs and upstairs bedrooms. What is it with crazy college students lately? A female thought it would be a great idea to walk into Logan International Airport today with a fake bomb stuck to the front of her chest. When questioned later she claimed it was artwork and liked the way it looked. Star Simpson, who can be seen to the right with what appears to be a shaggy blonde wig on her head, said she wanted to stand out. She succeeded. She also almost succeeded in getting a bullet through her head. According to reports, when she was questioned about the device by an airport staff member, Simpson walked away without answering. Police later caught up to her and she followed their orders to a T, which was a good idea as an officer later stated that the student is lucky she didn’t end up in a morgue.
