We use a beast called FogBUGZ for defects and I’ve just noticed that it isn’t possible to put any defects into any kind of grouping.  We also have about 1500 open defects and because of this number and that we can’t see easily whether a defect has been registered before, because there is no grouping of defects by functionality or type, we have a lot of numerous duplicates. Some of these defects were raised up to 5 years ago and have been hanging around for so long they’ll never get fixed. We had a meeting about the latest batch of defects to have been raised and when someone thought a bug has probably been in existence for ages then they just park it as an ‘internal error’, it gets put to the back of the queue and that’s that. Excuse me. What are they only interested in fresh, new, shiny defects and everyone can just live with the old defects. Don’t think the new client’s going to be to happy with that when they take delivery

Italian’s fashion company Ermenegildo Zegna is extending it’s Wearable Electronic collection after entering this market with the iJacket and the planned launch later this year with the Bluetooth iJacket under the Zegna Sport collection. At the currently running men’s fashion show Pitti Uomo in Florence / Italy, Zegna showed the Solar JKT, an outdoor jacket with solar cells integrated into the collar. Two solar modules, one on each side, convert the sun’s energy into electricity. The electricity is routed via conductive textile cables to a buffer battery, which can be used to charge a device directly or store the power until needed. The solar modules measures 9 centimeters by 5.5 centimeters each and can generate up to 1 watt of power by full sunlight. The battery measures 7 centimeters by 6 centimeters by 1.3 centimeter and weighs just around 100 grams. It requires four to eight hours to load. It's never a tough decision putting off the DIY to take the kids down to Queens Park. Today we popped down just before lunch and decided to grab a sandwich, slice of cake and a couple of coffees from the revamped Community Cafe. Thankfully, the recent damage to windows has been repaired and all is well again. A couple of old fellas (lovely blokes) were serving and couldn't have been more helpful. This corner fridge from Norcool (in English) will accommodate no less than 1,200 liters (about as much as 3 or 4 ordinary refrigerators) and only takes a little more floor space (Compare the outline of the corner fridge (black solid line) and an ordinary 60x60 cm fridge (red solid line). Placing the fridge in a corner gives lots of extra space and, as a bonus, plenty of room for the required ventilation. The only draw-back is that there is no version with a fridge/freezer combo.
