The Cybercrime Division suspects that the certain individuals are disrupting national information networks. Matthew Farrel is one of the suspects. McClane is sent to apprehend him.Obviously you get to play mister Die Hard, John McClane, as the rest of the story will be unfolded throughout the in-game cut-scenes, which you can thankfully skip.The game looks pretty cool when it comes to the graphics
Apparently, the critics and movie audiences of the world have lowered their standards. Considerably. To think that Live Free or Die Hard is currently rated at an 8.1/10 on IMDb, or that the film regularly scores four out of five stars is all a bit disconcerting. Because, really, there isn't all that much to crow about.I guess, in some respects, I can understand it. After all, this is the fourth in the series, and number fours aren't typically very representative of the overall quality of a franchise. The laundry list of fatal fours is long and undistinguished: Batman & Robin, Lethal Weapon 4, The Phantom Menace. Not a decent film amongst them. So, in comparison, Live Free looks like a masterpiece.For a mindless summer popcorn flick, it's pretty effective - just be sure to remember the "no mind" portion. With almost nonstop action (it starts within 12 minutes or so of the opening credits and continues throughout), the movie certainly fulfills its requirement as an adrenaline-

Und wieder einmal ist Bruce Willis alias John McClane in seiner actionreichsten Rolle unterwegs. An seiner Seite Justin Long bzw. im Netz besser bekannt als Mr. "I'm a Mac", in der Rolle des Hackers Matt.
Es gibt Schauspieler und Filme, zu denen passen einfach actionreiche Filme und umschreiben wir es mal, die ein oder andere, leicht übertrieben Szene. Das sind vor allem Filme des kalifornischen Gouverneurs Arnold Schwarzeneger, James Bond Filme und die Stirb Langsam Filme mit Bruce Willis. Irgendwo im Hinterstübchen denkt man sich, was ist das mal wieder übertrieben, aber es passt und wird nicht langweilig. Keine endlosen, sich wiederholenden Metzelszenen wie bei 300, die auf Dauer nur langweilig werden. Hier stimmt die Dosis. Das macht Spaß und kommt gut!

Unlike many other highly hyped productions, Live Free or Die Hard didn’t release a bunch of different posters, It’s been this one from the beginning. There were some variations on the international posters, but they were very minor. I guess they were happy with their first try and didn’t feel there was much else to add.
The poster is all about Bruce Willis looking tough, cool and ready to kick some ass. And I guess that is also what this franchise is all about.
It’s a good looking poster, and it’s sure to appeal to people (like me) who grew up watching Die Hard and think Bruce is one cool dude. But does it do anything for people who aren’t already pre-sold on the movie? Probably not.

It’s the Fourth of July weekend, and action cop John McClane is once again thrown into the action packed thick of it all! The US infrastructure is attacked shutting down the entire nation; whoever is behind the attack has worked out every possible angle, but hasn’t thought of John McClane!
McClane is again at loggerheads with teenage daughter Lucy, and he’s been handed the detail of bringing in Mike Farrell a young hacker for questioning by the FBI. With chaos erupting all around him, McClane uses Farrell to understand the problem with the collapsing infrastructure, and goes in search of the figure behind the problem Thomas Gabriel who manages to stay ahead of McClane, but not forever!
