The Cybercrime Division suspects that the certain individuals are disrupting national information networks. Matthew Farrel is one of the suspects. McClane is sent to apprehend him.Obviously you get to play mister Die Hard, John McClane, as the rest of the story will be unfolded throughout the in-game cut-scenes, which you can thankfully skip.The game looks pretty cool when it comes to the graphics, all of the stages look different which makes the gameplay less boring in that aspect. The detail is good enough for this kind of game, you really shouldn't have the time to look around when you're in danger of getting shot or blown to bits. The music is acceptable, it's the typical 'get ready for some action' track which works ok.In Die Hard 4 there are 3 types of levels, and if you've played any Gameloft action game lately you'll be accustomed to the formula. Apparently, the critics and movie audiences of the world have lowered their standards. Considerably. To think that Live Free or Die Hard is currently rated at an 8.1/10 on IMDb, or that the film regularly scores four out of five stars is all a bit disconcerting. Because, really, there isn't all that much to crow about.I guess, in some respects, I can understand it. After all, this is the fourth in the series, and number fours aren't typically very representative of the overall quality of a franchise. The laundry list of fatal fours is long and undistinguished: Batman & Robin, Lethal Weapon 4, The Phantom Menace. Not a decent film amongst them. So, in comparison, Live Free looks like a masterpiece.For a mindless summer popcorn flick, it's pretty effective - just be sure to remember the "no mind" portion. With almost nonstop action (it starts within 12 minutes or so of the opening credits and continues throughout), the movie certainly fulfills its requirement as an adrenaline-

An seiner Seite Justin Long bzw. im Netz besser bekannt als Mr. "I'm a Mac", in der Rolle des Hackers Matt. Es gibt Schauspieler und Filme, zu denen passen einfach actionreiche Filme und umschreiben wir es mal, die ein oder andere, leicht übertrieben Szene. Das sind vor allem Filme des kalifornischen Gouverneurs Arnold Schwarzeneger, James Bond Filme und die Stirb Langsam Filme mit Bruce Willis. Tonight I'm going to go see "Live Free or Die Hard" or "Die Hard: 4.0" as it's known in international release. I'm hoping for a kick-ass action flick where Bruce Willis keeps doing what he does best, that is, kicking ass. I don't think I'll be disappointed in that department. I'm not hoping for a coherent plot or competent bad guys, just a bunch of gunfire, explosions and ass kicking. On a side note, I haven't seen a movie in the theaters in about 2 years or so. I think the last movie I went to see was Serenity, and I had to yell at some teenagers then too. I always have to yell at teenagers or someone for not letting me watch the movie in relative quiet. These ones were playing music on their cell phones - during a movie! So I had to threaten them. They got scared and left. Pussies. Hopef

Unlike many other highly hyped productions, Live Free or Die Hard didn’t release a bunch of different posters, It’s been this one from the beginning. There were some variations on the international posters, but they were very minor. I guess they were happy with their first try and didn’t feel there was much else to add. The poster is all about Bruce Willis looking tough, cool and ready to kick some ass. And I guess that is also what this franchise is all about. It’s a good looking poster, and it’s sure to appeal to people (like me) who grew up watching Die Hard and think Bruce is one cool dude. But does it do anything for people who aren’t already pre-sold on the movie? Probably not. (source)
