Featuring more than 100 music performances on 7 continents to promote awareness for global warming, this music concert was the biggest of its kind. The music ended in London with Madonna performing with the popular Balkan music craze with Gypsy punks Gogol Bordello. Earlier at the Meadowlands Kanye West performed with The Police and John Mayer singing "Message In A Bottle." In Washington, D.C. married country stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood took the stage singing Garth's only gospel music song, "We Shall Be Free." If you didn't catch these on television you can watch them now when you download them on YouTube.

So there is a lot of hype about 7.7.07, so I figured I would chime in with my own notes. Just in case you have been living under a rock, today is the “Live Earth Concert”. The cool thing is that it’s being broadcast live around the world on the internet. Possibly one of the largest streaming events on the internet. While I agree with raising awareness of Environmental issues, I’ve never thought huge concerts were the best way about doing it, but to each his own. Be sure to at least check out the sites as they are interesting. MSN and Microsoft are the sponsors of the technology side, and I do have to admit I am impressed at the level of interactivity and sophistication. Good times indeed.

Hi Friends,The Rapture is only seven hours away. Many have been concerned that if they do make it in the Rapture that they will miss the Live Earth concerts that are beginning just four hours from now. I have worked it out with our engineers and we have satellite link-ups to all the concerts around the world on a super-sized plasma screen in the heavenly speedway. You will be able to enjoy the Rapture and watch the great shows! And it will be fun to see if those left behind will be able to do anything for Earth before Jesus and his army return to trash the place in seven years. If you don't make the Rapture there are plenty of local places to participate in the Live Earth concerts. Here are the details for the "Party for the Planet" at the Acoustic Coffeehouse in Johnson City. Check the Live Earth SOS web page.Still trying to meet everyone's needs,Secretary 9B8 Gamma Sector
