This would certainly explain some of the delays we’ve been seeing with the game. An inside source has informed CVG that LittleBigPlanet is also PSP bound, likely to also line up with the PS3 release in September. Link up options also would seem to be a very likely candidate, although nothing was given in great detail by the source, so the information is mildly lacking. The game is apparently being developed by the Sony Liverpool office, although they were obviously not forthcoming and have yet to comment on the story. I’ll bet it’ll be something along the lines of them not commenting on rumor and speculation. If indeed true, its certainly been held quiet for a while already, with September rapidly on the horizon. We’ll keep you up to date if we hear anything more about this rumor

Personally I was really stoked about this game but then it started taking to long and I found Crayon Physics instead.
True Crayon Physics is not as detailed and indepth as we want LBP to be, but at least it’s released… and is stupidly addictive…

LittleBigPlanet é uma das apostas mais inovadoras da Sony para o PS3, mas quem pensa que o título será apenas sobre modificar o cenário e criar as próprias regras, usando materiais diversos e as habilidades dos personagens se engana; LittleBigPlanet terá elementos tradicionais, como inimigos e chefões.
Foi o que Pete Wilson, da produtora, revelou em entrevista a EGM. Para ele, a presença de oponentes é parte fundamental de uma boa experiência: “Eles vão variar de pequenos robôs, que simplesmente se movimentam da esquerda para a direita, até bestas espetacularmente complexas”. De acordo com Wilson, os monstros também são compostos de objetos encontrados pelos cenários.
O jogo está previsto para 2008.

Imaginem um jogo de plataformas á moda antiga, mas com uns gráficos e sistema de física espectaculares e ainda por cima multiplayer. Agora nisto acrescentem muita originalidade e diversão!

Nella conferenza di ieri al GDC 2007, Phil Harrison ha presentato i nuovi progetti Sony. Come annunciato giorni fa su Kotaku e su molti altri blog nel mondo, le novità riguardano principalmente la Playstation Home e appunto LittleBigPlanet.
Phil Harrison ha finalmente spiegato cosa Sony intende per Game 3.0, concetto legato alla volontà di creare una “community” online per gli utenti PS3. Luogo di incontro sarà proprio la Playstation Home, dove gli utenti, come in Second Life, potranno creare una propria Avatar e incontrare e chattare con altri utenti. In più, gratuitamente, si può anche vedere film, ascoltare musica, condividere partite con altri utenti e invitarli in gioco. Il tutto in un mondo 3D.
Consono con questa mentalità si presenta LittleBigPlanet, un gioco che ci permetterà di personalizzare ogni cosa, compresi gli scenari di gioco, e interagire con le creazioni degli altri utenti. Il tutto come risposta al successo di titoli come Viva Pinata e Animal Cro
