Part 1: LU Decomposition used as a method to solve a set of simultaneous linear equations
We already studied two numerical methods of finding the solution to simultaneous linear equations – Naïve Gauss Elimination and Gaussian Elimination with Partial Pivoting. Then, why do we need to learn another method? To appreciate why LU Decomposition could be a better choice than the Gauss Elimination techniques in some cases, let us discuss first what LU Decomposition is about.

The following single-stage transistor linear amplifier possesses a gain of approximately 7 dB and an output power of 1 W in the 13 cm band (approx. 2.4 GHz). It is thus suitable for use, for instance, together with the 13 cm transmit converter. This hybrid power mixer equipped with a varactor diode type BXY. This mean that the described power amplifier can provide linear output power in the order of 1 W.CIRCUIT DESCRIPTIONA transistor type F1E6 manufactured by CTC is used. In this case of this transistor, the emitter is internally connected to the cooling bolt. This ensures that there are no problems with respect to the high-frequency grounding of the emitter. The circuit diagram of this amplifier is given in figure 1. The matching of the transistor input and ouput impedance to 50 Ohm is

60 WATTS LINEAR AMPLIFIER with IRF840
The 60 Watt linear amplifier is simple all solid state circuit using power mosfet IRF840. The IRF series of power transistors are available in various voltage and power ratings. A single IRF840 can handle maximum power output of 125 watts. Since these transistors are used in inverters and smps they are easily available for around Rs: 20/-. 13.8V 25Amp linear power supply
This circuit linear power supply 13.8V 25Amp, I see to in Web: http://www.raunvis.hi.is/~matti This is my 13.8V 25Amp power-supply. With over-current (26 Amps) and over-voltage (16 Volts) protection. Uses fold-back current limiting. Short circuit current is around 8 Amps. Uses 3 (or 4, which is better) IRF150n power MOSFETs as pass transistors. LM723 can drive the MOSFETs directly. Needs big heat-sink, 1.2 C/W for the FETS and bridge rectifier, or forced air cooling. Yes, the MOSFETs need equalizing resistors (0.1 Ohm 5 Watt) if they are not closely matched. Short circuit current of 8 Amp must be divided between the 3 MOSFETs, as the total power dissipated is 160 Watts. Better is to use 4 MOSFETS’s to lessen the stress during short circuit. 741+2N3055 linear power supply 13.8V 20A
This is circuit Linear Power Supply 13.8V 20A (High Current), Use normal part ( IC LM741 an 2N3055) But it Work and Low Cost. Some notes about this circuit: - Use a transformer for the primary voltage you need. The 3A fuse is for 220 or 240V primaries. If you use something in the neighborhood of 110V, use a 6A fuse. - The rather high transformer rating of 35A accounts for the losses that occur due to the capacitive input filter. If your transformer is rated for capacitive input, then a 25A value is enough. - Of course you can make up C1 by placing several smaller capacitors in parallel. Likewise, the 0.1 Ohm, 5 Watt resistors can be made up by several in parallel, for example by 5 resistors of 0.5 Ohm, 1 Watt each. - The LM336Z-5.0 voltage reference IC should not be replaced by a zener diode. Zeners are not nearly as stable. A different voltage reference IC can of course be used, if R2 and R3 are modified for the different voltage. - D1 and Q2 through Q6 need heatsinking. Only Q2 need

Linear Retail pays $22m for plaza in Wellesley
Linear Retail Properties LLC of Burlington this week purchased Central Plaza, a 47,000-square-foot shopping center on Central Street in Wellesley Center, according to Jonathan Aron, vice president in the investment group of NAI Hunneman, which represented the buyer. The property, which was owned by Wellesley Realty Trust, had not been marketed and was sold in a private transaction for $22 million. The Gap and six other shops are tenants, and Citibank plans to take space in the two-story building, which is accompanied by a surface parking lot.

Linear Algebra and Its Applications, Third Updated Edition
Book Description Linear algebra is relatively easy for students during the early stages of the course, when the material is presented in a familiar, concrete setting. But when abstract concepts are introduced, students often hit a brick wall. Instructors seem to agree that certain concepts (such as linear independence, spanning, subspace, vector space, and linear transformations), are not
