The mystery lilies planted in early Spring are opening now. More yellow than I was expecting but they're all lovely. The spray foam people ran out of goo yesterday, so today they mostly shaved goo for a few hours. We are hoping they show up tomorrow with more goo so the show will go on! We figure one more day of spraying and one more day of shaving. Then the drywall!
Meanwhile, we did a few projects around the house. Jim made some really nice post caps for the deck, and I worked on tile designs for the bathrooms and sealed various cedar and other wood. We are also making a diningroom table out of leftover wood. Needless to say, it will be rustic!
We are enjoying nature's show... the latest of which is a profusion of "rain lilys." They are cropping up all over and are just beautiful.
