Dave BarnesLifehouse is one of the bands i list under "feelgood", "reliable", "steady" and gasp "boring?!" Jason wade has mad vocals and he writes some damn catchy tunes. You could play their entire catalogue on any Hits station and not miss a beat. Enter Dave Barnes, an honest song writer with some very pop friendly melodies who is waiting for the big time. Let's listen to his single first before

A live video featuring Lifehouse performing 'The Joke' live from House of Blues in San Diego on October 21st has been posted online. The track is included on the Malibu rock band's fourth album 'Who We Are', out now on Geffen Records. Watch it below
Lifehouse's new album "Who We Are" is already out and the boys are moving onto thier next single "Whatever It Takes" which will be sent out to radio in the coming weeks. Aside from that the boys have released a new song on iTunes this week. Lead singer Jason Wade wrote it in response to teen's driving safety. The song is in partnership with Allstate Insurance in educating and empowering millions of teens in safe driving. The song is truly beautiful & inspiring ballad, and I'm sure you will have no problems loving the message coming from it. Deff check this out!!LIFEHOUSE - FROM WHERE YOU AREthanks for feeding. have a great day.

The Midway State is opening for Lifehouse from 10/21 – 11/19. The Midway State is a 4 piece band fronted by 21 year old Canadian Nathan Ferraro whose nakedly emotional, piano-driven rock songs, with their combination of youthful drama and mature melodies, bear no clear connection to any current sound or scene. We played one of the coolest shows in years last night! Not only because Madison is an amazing place, but because we dressed up as the "Cobra Kai" ( Karate kid reference for those of you unfamiliar. Rick was our make up stylist last night, and made me look fairly close to "Johnny". There was about fourty thousand people last night all dressed up and having a great time. Thank you Madison for the great memory! We are in Grand Rapids for a show tonight. Check in with ya later,Jason*§ource: Geffen*
I'm in Philly for a couple of days for a friends wedding. Him and his bride to be wanted me to sing You and Me for their first dance. I'll be here until Saturday, and then I fly to Vegas to meet the boys for a show. ( maybe I can win some of the money back that I lost from Josh ,a.k.a the dealer from hell in NY) It's nice to take a couple of days off and just hang out for a bit. The last show we played was New York at a place called the China Club. It was a great night, and the following day I went to see the Broadway show Wicked . It was entertaining, but not nearly as entertaining as the guy in front of me tripping on acid. I got to go now and try on my "wedding singer" costume. See ya in a few days. Oh I just realized I'm right across the street from the hotel that I wrote "Midnight in Philly", This hotel is much nicer! Sorry, I have A.D.D. Have a good one,Jason*§ource: Lifehouse's myspace*
We had a great night tonight! We just played the longest acoustic set we've ever played and had a great time doing it. There were about two hundred people in the hard rock cafe right by the falls, and I can definately say that we " soft rocked" the hard rock" tonight . Bryce already filled you in on Vegas, we all made it out alive, and had a great time. So there was a casino literally right next door to our hotel, and since I didn't do to much gambling in Vegas this time and had most of the day off, I wandered over there with Bryce. It seemed completely harmless at the time........... Until we sat down with the dealer from hell. I've never seen a dealer get black jack seven consecutive times....... Until today. We just started laughing it was so ridiculous. We barely made it out of there with the clothes on our backs. After our grave defeat we went and shared a moment by the waterfall. There we were, watching the great Niagara Falls, and I have a six foot- four ,blond Canadian sobbi
My children, husband and I watched a GodTube video yesterday, over and over and over and over. We were all in tears each time and now, just to hear the music, the words, I cry. My children and I talked about it at great length. What a great conversation starter! then I had my daughter's boyfriend look at it, with her. They held hands and cried. What video can move 15 yr old kids to tears? This one:and here is the video version:I hope it moves you as much as it did us.Blessings to you all.
We're both looking for something
We've been afraid to find
It's easier to be broken
It's easier to hide
Looking at you, holding my breath
For once in my life I'm scared to death
I'm taking a chance letting you inside
I'm feeling alive all over again
As deep as the sky, under my skin
Like being in love, she says, for the first time
Maybe I'm wrong, I'm feeling right
Where I belong with you
We just arrived in LA a few hours ago. It's gonna be nice having a few days to relax and unwind after the summer tour. We survived another very bumpy flight, and were very relieved when we touched down. I'm watching that show Heroes for the first time, it's not bad. Rick is probably making tacos, and Bryce is probably....sleeping. It was one hundred and eight degrees in the valley today, so I might go to the beach tomorrow and do some body surfing (actually my version of body surfing is standing in front of the wave and then getting knocked over). We should be announcing some tour dates shortly. We are looking forward to the headlining shows in mid September! Oh I think I saw Little Richard in the airport today (at least it looked like him). Anyways Check in with ya tomorrow,Jason*§ource: Lifehouse' myspace*

Much like every other band in this active world of ours, Lifehouse is heading back out on tour this summer to promote its upcoming album. In this case, that is Who We Are, due out June 26 via Geffen Records. But in the meantime, here's Lifehouses first single First Time, a track that brings back the same spiritual sweetness found on 2001s No Name Face.
Lifehouse - First Timewoot! I'm happy to hear some new stuff from Lifehouse. They've had success with such singles as "You & Me", and "Hanging By A Moment". Thier ready for there fourth album titled "Who We Are" set to drop June 26th! Here is the first single which has just been released. The song is what you'd expect to hear from them, and I'm still loving it. Great first single, check it out!DL: Lifehouse - First TimeDL Link 2: HERE(Credit:lem.blogbus , THANKS R APPRECIATED)
Mock me all you like, but I have much love for Lifehouse. The band's 2000 debut No Name Face spent a lot of time circling around in my CD player, and it still makes an occasional cameo. The guys are so much more than just "Hanging By A Moment" or, more recently, "You And Me," but they've never really gotten the attention they deserve.
